This was probably the best experience of our stay in Freiburg this year. We went to the thermal pools in the afternoon and had a wonderful time. There are several pools inside with different temperatures, but the top are the outside pools which have Jacuzzi and lazy river incorporated. The outside temperature was about zero, but we didn't even notice... More

My husband and I visited here in September. We have passed through Freiburg on numerous occasions but have never been to this spa before. In truth, we probably would not have found it unless we had stayed at the nearby Dorint Hotel. We have visited lots of spas in Europe over the years but this one really stands out -... More

Great spa. The pool outside was great and you are surrounding by the black forest. The sauna's are also very nice and it is a really big area full of many rooms with different temperatures as well as a huge lake outside. Just be aware that you have to be nude, however you can place a towel around you the... More

We had originally planned for 2 visits to nearby Vita Classica, but after visiting both baths, we spent our time at Keidel. Keidel is cleaner and the baths are a few steps away from eachother or connected. On weekends, arrive early to avoid the crowds (and get a parking spot). Stay for lunch because the cafe is a lovely surprise... More

I am a regular customer to the Thermalbad when I am in the area. I especially love going there in winter when it is cold outside and you can lay in the hot water and see the stars in the dark. The outdoor area has 3 different parts all with different bubble areas, a canal with streaming water and very... More

I have discovered the "Termalbad" by accident, some days before we left Freiburg. It is really great, there are different pools with different temperatures. One of my favourites is the swimming outside. You can swim from inside through a plastic door and get into a pool outside. They have different kinds of water massage machines etc. eveyrtung very relaxing. If... More

We were in Freiburg the first days of August. When we finished teh cultural visit we saw an ad of the Keidel Thermalbad, and look for it on the web. It seem very nice and good price so we decided to go the last day so we can relax before depart. The place is very nice because is in the... More

We had been backpacking around Europe for a couple of weeks and were pretty worn out, so we headed to the Thermalbad to unwind. We started inside in a warm pool, and despite it being summer, it felt really good. We swam through the plastic door thing to the pool outside and it was so wonderful. There is hot water... More
