For friendly elegance and historical indulgences this place has it all. Top it off with a visit to the casino and complete your Baden Bad experience.

I went a number of years ago, with a friend. A health and well-being experience that I will never forget. As you move your way through the spa "stations" you will experience a deepening relaxation until you are swaddled and rolled into a luxury sanctuary for a short snooze. Heaven!

The 'no clothes' rule was different particularly for Brits in mixed company and the experience through 14 different rooms/pools worth doing. Relaxing.

Things which may be helpful: 1) The cost is 37 Euro including the soap-brush massage which can be hard or gentle as you direct; 2) Yes, you are nude almost 100% of the time and there are some mixed gender areas; 3) This is a unique chance to experience what the rich and famous have since it opened in the... Thermal bath was very relaxing, you can forget that you are in modern ages and go back to old ages when Man and Woman were brought to the Land in their original attire. Nobody will bother you , you can enjoy the thermal bath experience to full extent. The rooms were designed in ancient roman style. Its a very best... More

It is worth a detour to Baden Baden just for this. Bathe like they did at the turn of the century in marble splendour. I would recommend choosing the mixed bathing if you are in a couple or if you are brave. After the dressing room all inhibitions are left behind, there is only casual and natural honour to the... 1. If you drive, don't put the Bath's address (as you will be brought to a dead end). Instead, put "Rotenbachtalstrasse, 76530 Baden-Baden" as your destination and then follow the signs for the "Bädergarage" car park. They list this on their website, but I missed it. 2. Of the total time allowed inside, 1 full hour is given for the... More

The four hours we spent at Friedrichsbad was the best time of our holidays. Lovely building and environment for a spa. We enjoyed the 17 step process and paid the extra for the cream massage. We actually went back and did some steps twice because we had time and didn't feel any pressure to just follow the steps. Good signage... More

This bath house has been around awhile...I visited it in the late 1980's and again in 2015. It has updated, of course, but I have to say I think they are resting on their laurels a little bit and could use some real "refreshing". Still a lovely, relaxing time but I enjoyed the bath house next door soooo much more... More
