Went on garment free Saturday when men and women have separate areas . I found this experience extremely relaxing , and enjoyed all stages. The building is phenomenal and really makes you feel like a part if history. A must try - don't be shy as no one cares! Run extremely well...

If you want to feel like you are in a more "traditional Roman" bathing experience, then you will most likely enjoy the tile lined curved arches and niches of this spa. They advertise this as 17 stations in three hours but that is not really true. Three of these "stations" are showers and the last two are a resting room... More

2 hours and a half to forget about daily routine and everyday stress... The perfect spot when days are dull and getting cold.

An incredible experience. The baths were built in the 1850's and are beautiful and huge. There is a 17 step process you walk through including wet and dry steam, soaking tubs and massage, even a nap. It's really great, just a little too regimented for me.

Weird as it sounds coming from Australians who are used to seeing people in all manner of skimpy swimwear the whole nude bathing experience was very challenging. Husband and i went on a mixed bathing day thinking we'd be brave together - and it definitely helped having a friend along to chat to. We didn't mind the actual bathing or... More

Have your stress and tension all scrubbed away. Drift off on a cloud of wellbeing relaxing in the 'reading lounge' to the tinkling harp music - at least the women can. Both luxurious and communal at the same time. A must do for Baden.

The place is optimal for a long and relaxed afternoon. the entrance ticket has various options but the most popular is the three hour one. You can also buy the soap massage but it needs a little courage: it is pretty hard stuff and it almost peels you off. Th various rooms are magnificent and every room has a specific... More

As a frequenter of spas, I was so looking forward to my experience. We paid for the luxury experience, which includes a cream massage and brush massage It was touted that we would visit 17 stopping points and have an unbelievable experience THE REALITY: The 17 points were not clearly laid out and several of the "steps" were taking another... This is a one of a kind place for its historic beauty and is worth seeing but if you want to just chill out I'd head to Caracella (which we also took in). I think I would enjoy this spa much more a second time when I understood what I was supposed to do. As you likely know, it's 17... More

My husband and I are currently living in Germany trying to see as much as we can. We recently visited the Friederichsbad Roman Irish Bath and loved it! Being American, we were slightly uncomfortable with the nude aspect before we went, but we decided to make like a German and just do it. I'm so glad that we did! The... More
