Unfortunately when I visited the spa was more of a cold water spa than a thermal spa. This was quite refreshing though, and enjoyable to swim in the clean and fresh feeling thermal spa water. It is fun as an English person to go to such a large fully nude multi-stage spa, and the roman style decor was fantastic and... More

Good thermal with a lot of diferent pools and temperature. Just be careful with the days, because is a nude thermal. Some days are mixed and some days are separated man and female. A very good place to relax. Places are clean. I just didn't have a chance to do a massage.

The 17 stage bath experience is a must do with the thermal waters at different temperatures guaranteed to make you feel absolutely fresh. But be aware that this is a nude bathing area. You do have couples days and separate days, so choose the right day before going. Wasn't too impressed with the Cream massage, but the scrub was good.

My second visit and if you arrive and see a long Q it's because the baths are full and you have to wait for people to leave before you can enter, we waited for an hour but it was our main reason to visit the town. If your following your sat nav remember most of the centre of town us... More

The baths are well maintained & have an air of early 20th century spa atmosphere. The facilities are clean & in good working order. I had expected a bit more in terms of service & "massage" as it is sold to you, but 8 minutes of scrubbing the body & 8 minutes of body lotion application is hardly a massage... More

Went on garment free Saturday when men and women have separate areas . I found this experience extremely relaxing , and enjoyed all stages. The building is phenomenal and really makes you feel like a part if history. A must try - don't be shy as no one cares! Run extremely well...

If you want to feel like you are in a more "traditional Roman" bathing experience, then you will most likely enjoy the tile lined curved arches and niches of this spa. They advertise this as 17 stations in three hours but that is not really true. Three of these "stations" are showers and the last two are a resting room... More

2 hours and a half to forget about daily routine and everyday stress... The perfect spot when days are dull and getting cold.

An incredible experience. The baths were built in the 1850's and are beautiful and huge. There is a 17 step process you walk through including wet and dry steam, soaking tubs and massage, even a nap. It's really great, just a little too regimented for me.

Weird as it sounds coming from Australians who are used to seeing people in all manner of skimpy swimwear the whole nude bathing experience was very challenging. Husband and i went on a mixed bathing day thinking we'd be brave together - and it definitely helped having a friend along to chat to. We didn't mind the actual bathing or... More
