When we commented that it was a bit cold to walk all the way down, she suggested that we could also fly down. We thought she... More

But not for the faint of heart....the ride to the top is quite steep towards the top, and if you don't like heights you may lose your breath for a few seconds. The view of the city and valley are amazing and well worth the ride. You can ride up/down, but many hike down. A group of kids took their... More

The bergbahn is a good idea at any time of the year. The views across Baden-Baden and the surrounding area are wonderful. At the top is a stone tower, that allows you to see for quite a distance, to France and across the Black Forest. The entrance to the tower is confusing for the first time visitor. There is a... More

The bahn or the train is amazing. The first time we went there, there was no one. The whole thing is automated. You take the tickets, wait for the train, get inside, close the doors and there you go. Had a good fun on the train. The view from the mountain is mind-blowing. Makes one feel like flying into the... More
