No American has ever been to a casino like this. First of all, jackets are required for gentlemen. The atmosphere is quiet and refined. There is red damask on the walls and more crystal chandeliers than I could count. Don't miss the chance to be in your own James Bond movie for an evening.

A must see! Beautiful casino with a great bar and dining area. Enjoyed playing a few rounds of roulette. Took a picture in lobby with horse statue.

I am fine with not having tons of people and clanging bells from slots on the casino floor. But we were there on a weeknight in September, and the place was dead. The rooms are gorgeous. But come on the weekends or in season.

Itt is a stunning building. I only took the guided tour, but I guess the place really comes alive at night when the tables are open. If you want to go remember gents need a jacket and tie and women should be "appropriately" dressed with shoes (no trainers or fli flops.

Obviously Baden Baden is famous, among other things, for its casino. If you want to gamble or meander in the main casino flow. Bring a tux or a good looking suit. Security won't let anyone that isnt suitably dress to rub shoulders with millionaires in otherwise. Instead you will be directed to the basement gambling area that has slot machines... More

Not only for gambling but also to see the interior and the ambiance. Have a drink at the bar or enjoy the restaurant. You have to pay entrance fee and be properly dressed, also you hv to show your ID when entering. The nightclub Bernstein inside must be very good and fancy friends of mine told me-but it's only on... Beautiful casino! You can tour through it at 10am, before it opens for gambling. Worth the time and euro to tour through. Our tour guide spoke English...always a bonus! :)

We visited the spa town of Baden Baden and also got to visit the casino from outside. Resplendent architecture . If you are planning to gamble inside the Casino , the formal attire is mandatory. The spa town itself is amazing

If you don't plan to try your luck at roulette or blackjack, do take a tour of the casino (mornings 9.30-11.30). Each tour lasts about 30 minutes and costs 7 euros - well worth the money. The rooms are absolutely beautiful - particularly the Winter Garden and the Florentine Room (Hall of the 1000 candles). The tour is in German,... More
