Worth the visit! When you're inside it's like you are gambling in Versailles. Roulette, poker and black jack........nicely dressed, the old fashion way. No jeans and no sneakers )))) We also had dinner in the restaurant inside the casino. Starters not so good, but good maincourse and off course great German wines!

It was fun to dress up and visit the beautiful casino while in Baden-Baden. There is a very low key vibe and formal feel to the place. Not stuffy exactly - but close. The $5 entry fee is worth it but, unless you're a committed gambler, you probably won't stay long. Decent martinis in the bar.

We did the tour of the casino, because we wanted to see what it looked like inside and we didn't have to right clothes to actually go gamble at night. I had read other reviewers that said their tour was partly in English, but our tour was completely in German. It was still neat to see the inside, and we... More

This casino is definitely different from others be been too. After reading reviews we were worried they wouldn't let us in as we hadn't planned any formal clothes. But a jumper dress and boots seemed to be ok. My hubby had a casual jacket and shirt with timberland boots and also managed to get in. Although note that we went... More

Visiting Casino Baden-Baden was a part of our weekly trip organized by Grohe, Germany. To visit the place you need to carry Passport. This is one of the few Casinos in Europe. People come here to spend time and try their luck.

No American has ever been to a casino like this. First of all, jackets are required for gentlemen. The atmosphere is quiet and refined. There is red damask on the walls and more crystal chandeliers than I could count. Don't miss the chance to be in your own James Bond movie for an evening.

A must see! Beautiful casino with a great bar and dining area. Enjoyed playing a few rounds of roulette. Took a picture in lobby with horse statue.

I am fine with not having tons of people and clanging bells from slots on the casino floor. But we were there on a weeknight in September, and the place was dead. The rooms are gorgeous. But come on the weekends or in season.

Itt is a stunning building. I only took the guided tour, but I guess the place really comes alive at night when the tables are open. If you want to go remember gents need a jacket and tie and women should be "appropriately" dressed with shoes (no trainers or fli flops.

Obviously Baden Baden is famous, among other things, for its casino. If you want to gamble or meander in the main casino flow. Bring a tux or a good looking suit. Security won't let anyone that isnt suitably dress to rub shoulders with millionaires in otherwise. Instead you will be directed to the basement gambling area that has slot machines... More
