We entered this small museum without any expectations. We found the greeting to be as pretentious as any I have seen in many decades of travelling. You enter their gift shop first and then purchase tickets to go to the second floor for their museum. After the rude and offensive behaviour at the entry/gift shop we left. Plus, they wanted... More

I'd read about it before going to Baden-Baden, then completely forgot. Luckily the parking garage I ended up at was just 2 blocks up the street. The museum is very small but with some awe inspiring and jaw dropping items. Unfortunately the museum book is only available in German and Russian and my Russian is "ochen ploxha" and my German... This is a lovely small museum. The collection is really spectacular. If you are an admirer of Faberge, this is a must visit place in Baden-Baden. The woman who was monitoring the museum was particularly well informed about the works, but unfortunately she only spoke German and Russian. Definitely recommend visiting this museum. More

For the entrance fee I was disappointed that we didn't get access to the "special" exhibit. The whole museum took less then 25 minutes to tour. More

Baden Baden is not known as a culture destination, but thanks to the Faberge Museum, it should be on everyone's Top 10 places to visit in Europe. Who would think that in this sleepy little German town are some of the greatest art treasures ever made --- amazing works made by Faberge, including 3 Imperial eggs, as well as many... More
