This was an interesting little ride on the cables across the Rhine river. For a group of four there was a reduced rate of €5,50 each for a round trip. The north of the Rhine is the Köln Zoo and the South side is the park with the health spa. The cable car service is open from 20th March to... More

It was a shining Sunday morning! After a 30 minute walk to the zoo to get to the cable car station, we got to this delightful experience! The cable cars are comfortable, the view of the city is very beautiful, and when you get to the other side, there is a gorgeous park, where you can spend hours just hanging... More

Feel for the money, €6.50 return this ride across the Rhine offers brilliant value for money. Whilst we had to queue a while given its popularity, feel it's well worth it. If you want to have an appetizer suggest you go on “YouTube” and see the ride for yourself

It is a great way to cross the Rhine from the Gardens to the Zoo (or vice versa!) If you are exploring the area and want to have a scenic Rhine crossing this is good fun, though only takes a few minutes.

If you only have an hour in this amazing city, do yourself a favour and travel on these delightful cable cars. They have just celebrated their 50 year anniversary and you can already guess that this means they are simply, efficient and delightful but above all well tried and trusted and safe! Travel from the Zoo (max. 4 per cabin,... More

A really beautiful view for a small price, but there is a nude spa right below on the cable car path, and it is quite funny once you realize it!

Really good views of the city but it is quite expensive considering it is only a 5 minute journey. We went 1 way from the park to the zoo. Glad we went on it but wouldnt bother again for the price

This is a well run cable car - you can either get off at the park at the other side (very pleasant to walk in and good play areas for children) or just stay on the car and come back to the zoo side. We did this after a zoo visit as it is just across the road. Great for... More
