Fortunately we made that last cabin on the Seilbahn, which stops running at 6pm. This meant we had wonderful views over Cologne at sunset - the Dom really dominates the skyline and this short trip gave a beautiful & different perspective of it. Slightly pricey at 4.5 euro each one way but worth it for a one off view of... More

Surely Cologne is most known for its precious cathedral, but even the Dom can nowhere be seen better than from a cable car crossing the rhine. While the short pleasure (about 10 minutes) is a tad expensive for its duration (5 EUR something), it is yet a time well spent and allows a different perspective on the city for guests... More

Worth going on this cute cable car ride which gives a superb view of the central cologne area and Rhine river. the charges are 4.50 Euros if we go just one side or 6 euros two way. Travel and get down in the Rhine park and take a toy train to go in the park.

Should be done really! was a little expensive but not too bad, lasted around 30 mins (there and back) interestingly you go over the spa and the nudist areas of the spa so don't be surprised to see naked men and women! there is also a zoo nearby , you need to get the underground from the main shopping area... Well worth the 6.50 euros return cost, lovely views over the Rhine, although it was very warm when we used it, definitely worth the cost.

The cable cars are lovely and give you an unbelievable view of the city. It's a short trip but fun! Be warned it does pass over a nudist spa but you are high up so it's not a problem! If the weather is too windy it will not operate so check first.

Ok, so I took my family to the Cologne zoo, which was nice, We decided to take the cable car over to the Rhine Park. The queue was quick and the staff were excellent. They took our pram and gave it it's own carriage, which was nice. We also had the option to leave it there. Now, it was a... More
