I used to ski here regularly when I lived in Geneva as it was easy to get to. It always surprised me that it was never really on the winter ski destinations from the UK. The result is that there are rarely big crowds which I love. The skiing is more intermediate than advanced and they do not have any... More

A good variety of pistes for all ski levels, well maintained lifts and compacted natural snow. Amazing views of the valleys and sorrounding peaks.

We spent a lot of the day on the run from Mont d'Abois going all the way back down to the gondola or to the intermediate chairlift that get you back up top. For my daughter, who is an advanced beginner working on intermediate slopes, it was perfect. Lots of variety and great snow. We particularly liked the easy access... More

I am a nervous beginner skier with a fear of heights and I still managed to ski down the mountain from the top to the lifts at the bottom (I was with our ski instructor who talked me through difficult sections and ensured I didn't end up on anything more than a green slope) but it felt an amazing achievement.... This the widest ski area in Megeve with the Megeve side, the Saint Nicolas side, the Saint Gervais side and the Demi-Quartier side (Princesse). It is large enough to find slopes which are not crowded even during the peak season. My favorite is to begin with le Mont Joux then l'Epaule, the Chatrix, the Croix du Christ, the Croix, the... There could have been more cafes and restaurants, slopes beautiful and quiet though. Lots of snow. The big run down to La Princess was incredible

The black runs off the Princess Telecabine are great and we had them to ourselves! The Telecabine is an added bonus too when it is cold as it gives you time to heat up a bit between runs. The restaurant on the right of the piste just before you hit the Princess lift is excellent - reasonably priced and good... More
