This is a wonderful place to picnic with family. We loved the spacious lawns and overflowing garden beds.

A great urban park with helpful maps that tell you where you are."Vous etes ici." A a short run from Presqu'ile(about 1-1.5 miles) along the Rhone.

It's beautiful, huge and free... You can see the animals. You can just sit there and chill out in the grass around the little lake. You can jog there or do activities with kids or just visit the rose garden or the giant conservatory.

It is a spacious park, with informal and formal gardens, plenty of shade, a lovely boating lake, as well as the city's (free) zoo and botanical gardens.

I attended a conference in Lyon, and the conference center is right next to this wonderful park. It has everything anyone could wish for in a park; walking trails, a lake with boats, a gazebo with a random grand piano sitting in it that anyone can play (! - ah, la belle France), a zoo, a rose garden, a botanical... In my second trip to Lyon I went with my 1 year old son who was close to start walking. And he did start walking in this parc. So it will stay as a really good memory! We decided to go mainly because we read the nice reviews here at TA and because we thought a good relaxed afternoon would... More

Nice well maintained place with its small zoo and one of the most beautiful and incredible places that I have ever experienced. It's a perfect place to go with your family.

had a good walk this day, silk factory, the murals, Bellevue, must have covered 20 miles before walking around the park and it's zoo. stopped off at the lakeside café, chose a mixed plate of meats to share, very good and a carafe of red late afternoon kept us going for the long walk back

I used to run in the morning and evening is just perfect. This park is also available for walking, strolling, scatting, or just to take a sunbath, or use the boot for a trip. Just go there you will see.
