La Tet d'Or is an incredibly nice park at the heart of modern Lyon. It is in front of Le Museée d'art Contemporaine and a splendid new area (Lyon, Cité International by a Maestro of modern architecture, Renzo Piano). Here joggers have a 4 km perimeter for doing an exciting training session. The track is flat with enjoyable green at... More

I love this park more than I love jardin du luxembourg. Cause this park you dont only find flower, bench, tree, or statue, but you can find a mini lake. And you can do jogging there. I love this park

I thought the installation here for the Fete des Lumieres was inspirational- moving, thoughtful, a real experience. Then we returned during daytime, and visited the zoo- I was a total big cat enthusiast as a child so was surprised to learn of the Amur Leopard which i hadn't heard of before- and to see this incredible animal staring straight at... This is a huge park, with beautiful gardens, a boating lake, acres of land and a zoo, all completely free!! A must visit if you're in Lyon

Very nice place to run, except during sunny week-ends when there is a proper crowd. Very interesting for families and children as you can see many animals, monkeys, lions, bears and much more. The botanical garden is also worth to be seen

On a summers day having a picnic and a bottle of wine. Great walks around the lake and interesting gardens. The completely free zoo is excellent value for money.

This area is just amazing in a city like Lyon. You can see different kind of animal or just chilled around the garden spaces.

A nice place to get some nature in the middle of a big city. Walk around, smell the flowers, look at the many birds, .... get a break from the city
