It show you how people had to live in an occupied country, when you can't trust anybody... Emotional travel in time, where you will learn more about Lyon, Capital of French Resistance, and Jean Moulin, the symbol of this resistance, prodigal son of Lyon who didn't get to see his country free... I spent some hours here exploring the history of the Resistance through the various exhibits-posters, books, film clips, object, photos, lists, descriptions. It is a detailed and seemingly complete coverage. More

Visited this exhibiton yesterday and noticed that it is now closed until October 2012. It was very interesting but lacked much in the way of objects being mainly photographs and printed information which was well translated into English, there is also an audio guide but this was not available yesterday so can't comment on this: The toilet facilities are a... This museum is housed in the former nazi head quarters, and the place where hundreds of thousands of Jews were gathered to be sent to their death during w.w.2. They could do so much more with this museum and if they charged more they could generate the funds to do so. Ask for the english guides and the hand held... More

we had high hopes for visiting this museum as we had found other WW2 museums in berlin very interesting. this one however was a disappointment. quite a small place which had alot of info boards down dark corridors was about it! it was like they had put pages from a book on the walls. we both found it dull. I do agree that some of the documents displayed at mid-thigh level are difficult to read. Some are also poorly light, but the low lighting is all part of the effect. The interior design is outstanding and makes you feel your right there. I had a rare opportunity to visit when there were so few visitors that I was alone... More

A well-presented, sombre, factual account of a very troubling time in our history. I was truly moved by the presentations, the videos, and the overall rational and level display of war-time footage, first person accounts, and documentation. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to better understand the troubles that this region of France, and the Vichy Regime, faced with the... More

I was disappointed by this museum .Maybe the reviews are too lauditory. For a start my audio guide broke down early on so that was not a good start. Many of the panels of information are set out in 3 sections. One at head height, one at chest height and one at knee height.I have a bad back so that after bending down to...
