This is a must visit in Lyon.No one will tell u to go thr. Its in old Lyon . Once you cross the river its a walk able distance. The entry is 5 euros. Its definitely an artist's imagination of the world. The underground celler depicting 'Perfume' does give an eerie feeling...All over a nice place to spend a few... More

Like others, I found this to be far more interesting than I expected. The miniatures on the top floors are astonishing and of first class quality such as one rarely sees. The lower floors with info on films' special effects and tricks of the trade are also fascinating. There is a lift, so one option is to take it to... More

We were looking for a museum which would be friendly for a 5 year old child, and ended up enjoying this museum for the entire family. It's arranged in 8 stages across 5 floors, with some dedicated to movie props, masks, and explanation on techniques. This was quite interesting, particularly for the movies we had seen. The upper floors had... More

We went to view the film sets and props, but were completely seduced by the miniatures on the upper floors. Every time we thought we had seen the most amazing object, we would come across something even more astonishing a little further on. A definite must for sci-fi and film geeks, but I think it's well worth a visit whatever... More

I wouldn't have thought to go to this attraction, but my friend wanted to. Afterward I was surprised that I really did enjoy it. There are many levels in and out of adjoining buildings that have large rooms presenting works. The first few floors encase relics from movies and some actual movie sets, including Perfume: The story of a Murderer.... More

Went in based on other peoples recommendations and are pleased we did. We had our 10 year old boy with us and he enjoyed it very much as did we.

My partner and I visited on a rainy day, but now we've been we'd both recommend going even if the sun was shining! Before you even pay the small entrance fee you get a taster of what's inside, to whet your appetite. It doesn't disappoint. From the full movie set recreations, to dozens of special effects exhibits, movie props and... More

Visited this mainly because it was pouring down with rain. I would go back even if the sun was shining! Excellent museum, very different and very interesting. Lots of special exhibits imported from the film industry with genuine examples from blockbuster films. The children seemed to really enjoyit and there were vary helpful steps on all the exhibits to allow... More

There are really two museums here--a museum of special effects for movies which was very interesting as they had the special effect and the DVD cover about the movie displayed in the same case. I loved the part that showed the miniatures. Exquisite! Such workmanship. I especially enjoyed the fact that we could take pictures. There was a lot to... More

Located in the old city. Very nice miniatures, in 4 or 5 floors. There are many costumes and scenery from movies like The perfum, The 3 musketeers, and many memorabilia. Only problem that is was too crowded. In the entrance they sell some very nice miniatures.
