Mixture of movie production history and miniatures, that is absolutely amazing, delicate pieces if art!

Weren't exactly sure what we were in for with this museum but it was a delight! Interesting bits and bobs from easily recognisable movies and tv shows along with intricate miniature displays. Well worth a visit.

We had a free day in Lyon on a Monday when many museums were closed but this one was open and was absolutely delightful! We probably spent at least 2 hours there and enjoyed every minute. If you are a cinema buff at all or enjoy miniatures (I love both), you'll love it.

The museum would be perfect to occupy oneself on a day when the weather is not beautiful, but since it was beautiful we breezed through and enjoyed the overview. Since we used our city card for access it was not a waste of money.

A super museum, the minature scenes were excellent and the tricks of the trade in film making were fascinating and many items/props from many films were very well displayed and explained. The camera does lie!

Some parts were boring for me as I had not seen the movie they were presenting scenes from. However, there were many interesting things to see in addition to those I was unfamiliar with. When you see some of the props, they will shock you (some in a good and some in a bad way ;)).

We were walking in the beautiful quarter of the old Lyon when my son noticed this little museum and wanted to check it out (yes weird,an 11 year old boy asking to go in a museum) . This is a fun, educational, intriguing small museum. My kids ages 11 and 13 loved it. They related to the movies from which... More

Many varied film props, costumes and special effects items. Very interesting and educational and set in a wonderful historic building. There is a really lovely cafe in the courtyard at the back, it has a deli at the front. I highly recommend it, and it has gluten free food.

We took a visit here as 'it was something we had not done previously' when in Lyon, and assumed it would not really be our thing... We were really pleasantly surprised. Set over a few levels, there were not only costumes/props from cinema we had actually seen, but also some truly amazingly crafted miniatures! A few scary sections (with warning... More
