Bastille is a perfect place from hiking since you can go from the centre, running next to the river than going up to la bastille! Furthermore, it is a great location to hang out with friends with a beautiful spot having a perfect view on Grenoble!

The fort on the top of the cliffs overlook Grenoble is a wonderful place for a visit and a walk along the ramparts. In the winter there can be snow, but usually the son shines and people picnic there. It gives you a wonderful view of the valley below and the reason why it was heavily fortified to protect the... Watching the clouds roll around from up there was spectacular. Overall, the view is amazing. You can see the mountains and all of the city.... More

A great tourist attraction giving undoubtedly the best views of Grenoble city, amazing on a clear day, you can even make out Mont Blanc in the distance. A good restaurant there also, great for a coffee or lunch or dinner. The ride up and down in the telepherique if fun but if you're feeling energetic you can walk / run... More
