Bastille is a nice attraction in Grenoble. You can enjoy the nice view of the city from the top. Once on the top you can enjoy the food in the restaurant located up there. Must visit destination when you visit Grenoble

Beautiful place to visit if your in Grenoble. Good view of the city. There was some music program on the top of the hill, thoroughly enjoyed.

This place has surprised me. I assumed it was just a nice view over Grenoble and a restaurant. Actually the place is teeming with activities : accrobranche on the fortifications, discovery paths dedicated to architecture, flowers, geology etc., picnic places, caves to visit and lots more. You can spend a whole day over there and not get bored for a... More

Perfect spot to go! We had a wonderful day there. You can have a nice walk in there, with a stop to a delicious icecream.

Besides going up in "the bubbles" and seeing the beautiful town of Grenoble from a high point, there was nothing much to do at the Bastille. They have activities for kids but can't comment as we didn't use them. The Art display was also closed when we went. Good place to take pictures but not worth the 8 euros per... More

It was really fun. Full of adrenaline and worth your time if you love adventures! the view is amaaazing when you're climbing or sliding on the ropes and it's 100% safe. Afterwards we were hungry af and unfortunately it was extremely hot so the restaurants were all closed. You must be prepared for everything here unless you'd like to starve... More

I studied abroad in Grenoble for a semester and made several different trips up to la Bastille. It's not a super difficult hike but if you're not confidant that you can make the hike than the cable cars or "bubbles" are a great alternative. From the top of la Bastille you get an amazing view of Grenoble as well as... More

The cable car ride up to the Bastille offered wonderful views of Grenoble. Go up around 8pm to get a beautiful view of dusk. You can also do some hiking further up some tracks. But wear comfortable shoes. Affordable at only 8 euro return a trip.
