Crystal clear waters and beautiful walks. This lake also known as lake Geneva is huge and there is lots to do around its edge and of course on a boat.

Worth visiting the place. The lake induces a feeling of tranquility. Many ferry lines connects the location with other nearby places. Nice to explore them all!

Superb, service a little slow, but food worth the wait. Seafood superb on our visit - ideal for business or pleasure - ask for table availability, some slightly cramped, ask for best available.

Earlier this year we drove along the impressive Alps of Switzerland and France... and were swept away with the beauty and calm of Lac Leman. We stayed at Evian-les-Bains, origin of Evian springs and enjoyed magnificent views of Lac Leman. We saw Lac Leman at several intervals during the day and all were lovely, especially at sunset. There were minimal... More

I just love the views over the lake to Switzerland from Evian and the villages above. It's enchanting and I always want to come back. I usually come for the Evian Championship (previoulsy the Evian Masters) and theveiw over the make from certain holes on the golf course are just stunning.

Fantastic location on Lac Leman. Spotlessly clean and lots of variety of eating places. Well worth the stay.

Loved the promenade along the front, the enormity of this beautiful lake, glinting in the sun, surrounded by mountains with the tantalising view of Lausanne and Switzerland across the water.

This is the high light of Evian Les Bains. There is a beautiful walking path a long the lake that you can walk on for an hour. It is beautifully planted and kept up! As you walk out of the ferry building, turn left and walk about fifteen minutes past all the docked boats. There you will find a narrow... More

What I'll remember best from my five days in Evian is how beautiful it sits on Lake Geneva: The large expanse of water, the gentle slopes on around Lausanne on the other side, and the mountains and slopes on the French side. There's a path right next to the water where tourist stroll and enjoy the view. There's a ferry... More

Like being by the sea, but 200-odd miles inland. From sleepy villages to bustling cities, the shores of the lake are packed with things to do.
