The promenade in Evian-les-Bains along the shores of Lake Geneva / Lac Leman is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, people watching alongside the lake and beautiful flowers of Evian. Eat at one of the many restaurants right off the Main Street parallel to the promenade. There are several shops, too, with nice gifts. I bought a beautiful hand-made... More

Gorgeous view, lot of grass people can relax and get browner. The lake is clear, clean and refreshing when it is warm. You can jump from some big stones to make more fun :) Bring your pic-nic it is very cozy. There are toilets in the swimming area (not always perfectly cleaned but at least you can go for free).... Lac Leman had the most refreshing clear blue water. We took a boat ride and enjoyed seeing the beautiful homes along the lake. Swans floated gracefully along the water.

Crystal clear waters and beautiful walks. This lake also known as lake Geneva is huge and there is lots to do around its edge and of course on a boat.

Worth visiting the place. The lake induces a feeling of tranquility. Many ferry lines connects the location with other nearby places. Nice to explore them all!

Superb, service a little slow, but food worth the wait. Seafood superb on our visit - ideal for business or pleasure - ask for table availability, some slightly cramped, ask for best available.

Earlier this year we drove along the impressive Alps of Switzerland and France... and were swept away with the beauty and calm of Lac Leman. We stayed at Evian-les-Bains, origin of Evian springs and enjoyed magnificent views of Lac Leman. We saw Lac Leman at several intervals during the day and all were lovely, especially at sunset. There were minimal... More

I just love the views over the lake to Switzerland from Evian and the villages above. It's enchanting and I always want to come back. I usually come for the Evian Championship (previoulsy the Evian Masters) and theveiw over the make from certain holes on the golf course are just stunning.
