I loved the Brevent ski slope the best of all in the Chamonix centre. It was perfect, quite steep, but still not reaching the kamikaze level, it offered gorgeous views and there's a great restaurant at the top, beautiful views and super tasty food. It offers a good alternative to Aguille du Midi even for tose who do not ski... More

This is one of the must do trips while in Chamonix. The views are out of this world and the trails are amazing.

We stayed in Chamonix but didn't want to deal with the queues for Aiguille du Midi so decided to visit Le Brevent instead. We walked to the cable car from our hotel which was a little climb but not too difficult. Once there, there were no queues. You get one cable car up to Planpraz where there are walks, a... More

From the cable car you have great views over the whole valley and also great views of the Mont Blanc massif. It is a great way to meet people as there are many different types of people going up. Some for climbing, base jumping, paragliding it has it all. Definitely worth the money to go up

No queue at all loved the views and the walks down are fantastic. A good alternative to the Aguile de Midi, and a lot cheaper are well, we were serenaded by a band on the way up, who knew, was a great experience!

Le Brevent, is accessed via two cable cars, is a good place for hiking and walking, during the summer season, great walks are available, a map is recommended, but its very well signed too. Views are superb, but try and head up on a Cloudless day if possible for the best views, it can be cold at the top even... More

Nowhere as spectacular as compared to aiguille du midi....worth doing it if someone has time....I think its good for hiking as we saw many people doing it....although we did not do it, so cannot comment much..... also there is a nice little restaurant at the mid way station..it has some nice views...its included in multi day pass....you can take a... A gentle cable car ride takes you 3/4 of the way up Le Brevent and the latter stage to the top is via a gondola. Whilst it can be breezy at the top, the views are stunning especially if the peaks across the valley - Mont Blanc and the Aguille du Midi - are not hidden in cloud. There's a... More

This cable car offers great view of Mont Blanc from the other side of the Chamonix valley. The mid-station is where many of the parachutes take off from and will fly very close to the cable car. At the top there is a small resturant and a ski trail to some of slopes on the west side of the valley.... More

A very smooth ride to a beautiful viewing area. you can then hike up to Brevent itself and get a spectacular view of Mont Blanc and the Aguille du Midi and get some wonderful photographs and a good understanding of the geography of the area. It's hard to appreciate the geography stuck down in the valleys.
