It is a must on a clear and sunny day if you are in this region. Though a bit pricey, the money is well worth it. The best thing about the trip to the top is that you can go to the intermediate station and only then can you decide whether you want to go further or whether it is... More

I climbed the three monts route to Mont Blanc in Sep 14. The route was tough but very enjoyable and perfectly travers able for anyone with good fitness. A head for heights and at least some alpine experience. (Crampons and ice axes are a must)

We were fortunate for almost clear skies, so we took the cable cart all the way up to 3842m. It was freaking cold and awesome at the same time!

Absolutely loved the whole totality of the Mont Blanc experience. To be up there and see the climbers coming up the ridges and over the balcony railing was one of those "you were actually there" moments.

This really is one of the most wonderful places in the world and it felt like a privilege to be able to visit and see Mont Blanc in all it's snowy, sunny glory. There are two cable cars that take you to the Aiguilles de Midi and even though it was the Easter Holidays and not very crowded they pack... More

We only had a couple of days in the Western Alps region and wanted to see some of the most impressive areas - which obviously included Mont Blanc. It definitely matched the expectations. This time we only had a couple of hours in the area, but I'll certainly be back to enjoy the huge variety of activities the region has... More

I just came from an amazing weekend climbing Mont Blanc. We left Saturday afternoon and arrived at Refuge du Tete Rousse at 5:30 for enough time to take a nap and have dinner around 7:30. On Sunday @ 2am, we started our expedition and though the skies were clear, the cold wind made it tricky hence we only reached the... More
