Well worth a trip if you have the time, but not a climb for the faint hearted bearing in mind the altitude etc.

Mountain and have a gander! Simply glorious at the top and the ride to get there is scarily fun! Hopefully you go when there isn't strong winds!!

One wonderful way to visit Mont Blanc and Chamonix is getting there by train. The view is incredible and the experience of leaving the train station with Mont Blanc in your back keeps the surprise for the last moment.

Place to be once in your life. A bit expensive though but worth it. Also need to be on good health as one can start feeling the symtoms of high. Place to go definitely and amazingly beautiful sight.

We visited just as a tourist, not a skier. We popped up a few cable cars, enjoyed the sights, and really enjoyed the experience. We also had a look around the shops and stalls - there's so much to just look at and enjoy, particularly if you're in no rush.

Great little pizza place with friendly service and freshly made pizza. Nice but limited selection of house wine, central location and child friendly.

This is the best thing you can do in Chamonix as skiing is not an option. The view is spectacular and experiencing the thin air is by itself something you should try.

4896 mt high, is the highest peak of the Alpes. Is considered "the roof of Europe". Snowy peaks and white slopes form the seightseeing. Otherwise, you can practice your skiing or relaxing in the lodge.
