It's one of those mountains you have to have seen at some point in your life and it is indeed quite imposing. We found the best views to be from the hiking trail up to the Glacier des Bossons.

Snow covered mountains, cold crisp air, blue skies. Beautiful. Looking down to Chamonix below. Lovely to have been there.

If you like highs this is the place to go... but don't go to the top on shorts! Take the train to the near refuge and enjoy the views.

The steady three day drive from the Midlands through the ever changing french countryside should have prepared us for the spectacle that is the Alps. From the first sighting of Mont Blanc from the motorway from Geneva the visual feast of this area never stopped.

The Mont Blanc range is a beautiful place to be in the world, and like many before me once visited decided never to leave!

So amazing, ice caves, views that feel like your standing in the clouds. Great customer service at the void, they will take as many pictures as you want. What a great time, the drive up is half the fun.

Absolutely breathtaking, I could have stood there and looked at Mont Blanc all day! Just stunning. There is snow on this mountain all year round, it was bizarre being on ground and it was 28 degrees and looking up and seeing snow.

If you have never experienced a gondola ride in the Alps, then don't miss this one! Breathtaking and will keep you in amazement of the beauty of Mont Blanc.

Top of Western Eeurope, anyway. No matter which route you choose to ascend, it will be strenuous. But, climbing the last 1000 vertical metres in the dark, watching the sun rise, before finally summitting in dazzling sunshine, is nothing short of magical. Definitely worth the effort! NOTE: Be sure to hire a mountain guide to ascend Mt Blanc. It is... More

Dangerously beautiful. I love very much the view from below, but the mountain itself did not attract me to climb it. During whole week, while in Chamonix, Mont Blank was merely visible couple of times, but mostly it was obscured by clouds.
