The view from the top is breath-taking. Warning; to reach the top you have to climb 228 stairs, which are the steepest you will ever find and could be dangerous for those with breathing or cardiac problems

Loved the Mt. Blanc view and the mountains around. This is a scenery worth every penny to get a closer look at. Go to the top of aguille du midi and have a look or do go on the 30 min helicopter trip above Mt. Blanc. Thats around 5000m, in a helicopter. Its Europes top but Elbrus is the highest... More

Mt Blanc is an amazing experience, first time glacier walking for me with crampon and ice axe. The following review is of Chamex(.com) rather than the peak itself: I summited Mt Blanc with a friend last summer and we went with Chamonix Experience. Our guide Octavio was a real experienced professional and he took us to the summit through 3... More

Its been nearly 12 years since I went on the top of this marvellous mountain.Despite the bad weather we could'nt see the view while going up on the cable car.It was freezing but seeing the stalagmites & stalacites was an awesome experience. The charming train took us to the very edge of Mer de Glace. An ice grotto carved into the heart... Take the Aiguille de Midi gondola up, up, up into and over the clouds to the top of Mont Blanc. It is beautiful and a must see in Chamonix.

We travelled on the cable car despite being told a the ticket office that there was no view of Mont Blanc that day. Although this was true, the views of everything else from the top of the cable car was just stunning. It was a clear day in the Chamonix valley and we could see all the surrounding mountains at... It is beautiful. Go there!! It is easy to look at it from the valley and there are several cable cars that will take you up the mountain. If you like taking pictures; I do not think that you can go wrong here. There are amazing vistas everywhere. I went in Winter and will go back in the summer to... More

We took the cable car from Aiguille de Midi to get to the top of Mont Blanc. It takes you up 3842m and the views are literally breathtaking. The high altitude takes some getting used to but it is absolutely worth it. Be sure to wear really warm clothes and try to go on a clear day. The weather can... More

Unique Sense, dramatic view. Its a must to visit. Be aware of the low oxygen due to the altitude. We had a walking problem and we hardly climbed the few steps, of the stairs, to the top of the station.
