Past through here whilst driving to malta and it was lively to stop, have a coffee outside and just look at the huge snow covered mountains.

I have been in higher mountains like Himalayas Andes etc but as a European Mont Blanc is the mountain of my continent behind Olympus of my home country.Wild and dagerous. The only bad thing is that the ice is melting very fast as the rest of the places with glaciers.

Mont Blanc is the highest mountain ( 4810m) of the Alps and Europe also. In English Mont Blanc means white mountain and when you there you will everything white and nothing else. It is really breath taking beauty, heavenly peace, freezing cold but it is worth of million dollars. there is not enough words, only seeing is believing.

Well worth the money. Wrap up warm though. And I have no head for heights, so it was alarming. But good fun.

WOW WOW WOW this was magnificent. the cable car ride up the mountains was an absolute thrill. We had a perfect morning and could see for ever. Although the glass observatory was closed which was a bit dissappointing neverless the view from the platform at the top where eye popping.

It's taken me a while to get around to writing this as we did the walk in July 2014 with Northwest Walks. We did a guided walk with Steve and there was never a hiccup along the way. The scenery is unbelievable and the walk is hard and does take you out of your comfort zone. By this I mean... More

We went to Chamonix to see Mont Blanc. We had never been there and decided to take the cable car up to Aiguille du midi. It took only 30 minutes to reach the top at 4 842 m. There are two parts. First you take one cable car to the middle station. It is relaxing to get to the first... More

It is such a beatiful place. You have to see it at least once. I loved the panorama, the weather is great there, the price is quite good regarding the experience. You can eat there and shoot photos, the employees will help you. At the top you also can buy souvenirs.
