If you are visiting Chamonix, please take a day to experience the L'aiguille du Midi. Two cable car rides up will not prepare you for the most breathtaking views you will ever experience. It really is such an incredible feeling being 12,602 feet high. Don't miss out on stepping into the "Void"! Dress warmly and be prepared for an epic... More

You can beam yourself up to 3800m without effort and enjoy a marvelous view on Mt Blanc and the glaciers around - but be aware to drink lots of water and return fast if headaches occur.

I visited with my 15 year old son- and this was his first experience in the Alps. We loved it! It was quite cold in mid August but the views are phenomenal and the experience is well worth it! There are snow trekkers out and hiking on the snow covered cliffs. We added a 4 hour hike to Montveners (where... More

All you old folk (like me) out there may remember the Disney E tickets, the best rides in the park. That's what this cable car ride up Mont Blanc is like. Actually, the best thrill is the coming down part, where you feel (momentarily) like you're free falling. Unlike Disney, the exquisite scenery here is not fake, and although tickets... More

It's definitely a must-try in Chamonix! We were blown away by the view on the top, thrilled and amazed by "Pas dans le vide". The 3h walk from Plan du midi to La mer de glace was enjoyble, awesome landscape! Lucky we started our trip early in the morning (7am) so there wasn't a long queue. It was no doubt... More

For us it is just lovely to see such wonderful mountains with the sun shining and surrounded by snow.

What a terrible experience. More than two hours line up and more line when you get to the top!!! The worst thing happened when I was waiting to get the lift to the top platform. After 15 minutes in live without moving someone fin the staff said there was a technical problem and they called the electrician and the problem... More

We drove for over two hours to see for ourselves this beautiful area of Chamonix and Mont Blanc. Although a little on the pricey side it was worth every cent. There are two cable car rides up to the top of the mountain and the views are spectacular. The new attraction (2013) which if free is the Step into the... More

Bit on the pricy side, but when you think of the maintenance of this place, we better understand. *** IMPORTANT *** This is high altitude so please act accordingly. Wear something warm, wear boots, as the temperature can easily drop to near freezing even though Chamonix is in the mid teens. Also, if when you look up at the Mt-Blanc... More

This is a must if you have a few hours spare in Chamonix. The views are amazing and the trip to Italy in the gonadal cable car is simply breathtaking. Also the step into the void option is fun too
