Scenic ride up

We didn't actually go on the cable car as the queue was an hour wait. Hopped back on the bus and went to Brevant instead. For a MUCH quicker access to the slopes

The lift was very full but not uncomfortably so. That said the ride was very smooth without any judders when coming to a stop. At Flegere there is a very pleasant, modern, snack bar/cafe which had a wide range of drinks and food on offer. The views were to die for.

Staff were very helpful. We were squished like sardines (to a safe number) but hey, it is winter. Took us a little while to all get packed in and then it was a decent 10mins up to the top. It was very scenic. Not far from the train station (a 7 min walk), and the bus stop is about a... More

There are only two cable cars operating here so unfortunately the queue can get frustratingly long (in both directions), particularly during peak times and you'll find yourself wasting precious skiing/snowboarding time. Unlike Le Brevent cable cars which arrive much more frequently, skiers are also forced to put up with having to haul their gear up a flight of stairs, adding... More

Great access to the Aiguilles Rouges. I wish they stayed open a bit later in the day, later in the season.

A quick and easy cable car, queues can be long so factor that into your trip. The views from the cable car are beautiful if your lucky enough to get a space near a window

Struggle to understand why this cable car closed for the summer season on 6 September. The walk between it & the Planpraz Cable Car Station is described in guides as one of the best walks in the Chamonix area & on 10 September we passed well into 3 figures of walkers coming in the opposite direction. In fact it is... More

Taking this cable more then once, we were pleasently surprised by the politeness and friendliness of the staff. All spoke english, too. Keep it up!

This inexpensive and short ride up the mountain puts you into some fantastic mountain scenery and connects with the TMB.

We arrived at Noon at the height of the tourist season in August. There was a very long line so we hit their bathroom and continued on our great walk along the river.
