It made a good and safe travel to see the Mont blanc top place by the Cable car. Very nice to read in the walls how the Cable car have been constructed and made for usage to people. Nice effort and good mechanical cum civil work by the great engineers.

I'm still surprised that people who are here on holiday take that old and uncomfortable gondola to reach the Flegere skiing area when it is much easer and you will never have to queue if you go to Brevent with its very comfortable small gondola and from there in barely 20 minutes skiing you can reach the Flegere area. Where... More

This cable car is slow (one up, one down, with each car able to take a maximum of 50 people). We generally arrived early to minimise the frustrating wait time in the morning. One day we arrived just after 9 a.m. and waited for approximately 45 minutes before we could get a car up the mountain. The plus side is... More

This is a Cable car I can only recommend everyone to avoid. It doesn't matter if you are going up any time before noon or coming down in the afternoon, you will end up standing in line for a long time. Use the much more modern cable car at Brevent and make your way over to Flegere from there.

Flegere was one of the highlights of our trip. It has some lovely an interesting runs that open up into great views. We were lucky that it was very quiet when we went, and could really relax enjoy the runs at our own pace. We were then able to head over to Brevant for more variety of runs.

Omg..if you want to waste two hours of your precious holiday standing in the cold and emulating cattle then hit the down leg of this cable car any time after four and you won't be dissapointed...

Take the cable car from the side of the golf club and enjoy the wonderful views. Take a breather at the top and have a bite to eat or a drink at the little shop, enjoy the sun in the deckchairs provided and then enjoy the numerous walks that are well signposted.

The positive is that it gets you to where you want to be, which is a place with glorious views across to Mont Blanc and some great hiking trails. The rest is quite a painful experience. The queues at the ticket office are long and not at all well-managed. They would let various people push in the queue for whatever... More

Unfirtunately even if they have changed recently the cable car that takes you to ski up in Flegere domain, the cable car is not big enough to avoid the long queue that starts right after the first ride! It also should open before especially in spring when the snow starts to get soft early in the morning.Better to go up to... More

Chamonix = a wonderful winter place and hiker's paradise in spring/summer. BUT: We queued for c 50 minutes to get the telecabine from town to Flegere and thereafter lined up at the various lift options at the top. I agree with other commentators. Surely the logisticians of Chamonix can realize that the paying public (€230 for a 6-day pass =... More
