We arrived at Noon at the height of the tourist season in August. There was a very long line so we hit their bathroom and continued on our great walk along the river.

We didn't have to wait long before the lift carried us to the top. The views are amazing, and if you are able the hike down is worth a try. We usually stop off at le fleur cafe for a treat. Cost of cable car very reasonable, would highly recommend.

Comfortable, smooth ride with efficient service from Compagnie du Mont Blanc. Take the bus from Chamonix to Les Praz to get this lift. It's worth doing the balcon hike from Flegere to Plan Praz - takes about 3 hours... not too difficult with great views of Mont Blanc

very often out of service and usually has long queues. best to come early or out of ours, ie after 10.30am. with the wait though as you otherwise have to go via Le Brevent

The Flegere lift is a great start to a stunning traverse back down the valley to PlanPraz. This direction of travel means that you get a continual view of Mont Blanc across the valley. The dog ran free and loved the walk, there are some step sections but it is mostly flat (ish). Very worth doing

Being on the opposite side to the Big mountains including Mont Blanc, you are rewarded with a real nice panorama. If the weather helps it presents an excellent photography opportunity.

Flegere is on the same side of the valley as the Brevent cable car with a basically level walk linking the two although there are moments of height exposure. The Brevent lift is at the end for an easy decent.

It made a good and safe travel to see the Mont blanc top place by the Cable car. Very nice to read in the walls how the Cable car have been constructed and made for usage to people. Nice effort and good mechanical cum civil work by the great engineers.

I'm still surprised that people who are here on holiday take that old and uncomfortable gondola to reach the Flegere skiing area when it is much easer and you will never have to queue if you go to Brevent with its very comfortable small gondola and from there in barely 20 minutes skiing you can reach the Flegere area. Where... More

This cable car is slow (one up, one down, with each car able to take a maximum of 50 people). We generally arrived early to minimise the frustrating wait time in the morning. One day we arrived just after 9 a.m. and waited for approximately 45 minutes before we could get a car up the mountain. The plus side is... More
