We drove from Grenoble and knew we would not have time for the cable cars to the top of the mountain. Instead we continued north to Vallorcine near the Swiss border. We turned around and stopped at the Col des Montets, a wonderful place for a spectacular view of the mountains. It looked like there is some great hiking here.... More

Probably the highlight of our Alpine holiday in Aug-14, we took a day trip from Geneva to Chamonix via Key tours agency and totally enjoyed the whole experience. for those like me without a car, this is quite a great day trip unless you want to stay in Chamonix for few nights (must recommend) and enjoy the sights all around.... The town of Chamonix is the hub to Mont Blanc. Aside from all the things one can do the cable cars take you up into the mountain range where you can walk trails which allow you to take in the beauty and majestic Mont Blanc. One just watch in the peace and quiet the changes of the mountain.

Patrice (direct phone shown below). Is a fantastic pilot. I tried it first and had such a great experience that my wife went with him as well and also had so much fun. He even shows you how to fly it, and does some tricks at your request. Very smooth landings. Friends of ours went with Patrice's friend Nicolas, and... More

… My story is long but to keep it simple, it was after midnight cold and dark. I was traveling with my daughter 13 years old and with two extremely heavy pieces of luggages loaded with sports equipment besides backpacks and carry-ons. We had difficulty to locate the final destination due to poor instruction that I had in hand. After... More

We stopped at Chamonix for an hour on our way to our chalet in Les Houches and were very impressed with this bustling beautiful French village. Many buildings appeared to be new and were adorned with vast flower boxes bursting with petunias which against the view of Mt Blanc was breath taking. The glaciated waters of the Arve river carved their...
