Lovely place to go for a walk, walk the dog, to roller skate or ride a bike. The view is amazing, the garden is very well kept and full of flowers. There are pedal boats for rent. During the low season the price was about 50 euros. I thought it was a tad too expensive. There are free of chage... More

Our family spent 3 lovely weeks in Annecy. The lake and the views are breath taking. The cycle routes are very safe for families and a great way to get around. We camped at International Du Lac D'Annecy which was fabulous. Lots to do around and about such as summer tobogganing in Semnoz. The weather was glorious in July too,... More

We made a day trip to Annecy on a sunny early spring day. It was Saturday and there was a bustling flea market in the old town. We had a nice day browsing at the flea market. The town is nice and clean. The were lots of gelatarias and restaurants. It was nice walking along some of the canals. We... More

Beautiful view of the snowy mountains and nearby villages. Has a lovely park next to the lake where you can stroll around and see the different angles of the view. Boat trips are available.

Just returned from a 4 day visit to this beautiful part of the country. We rented a house on the edge of the lake, a family get together with 10 adults and 1 child. The house was spotless, well presented, well maintained and huge! Scenery around the area is stunning with lots of activities for children. Plenty to see and... More

A friend of mine invited me to spend several days in their country-house in the Alps and one of the days we've visited Annecy. It seemed to me that the place is rather popular with the French. Though all the surrounding beaches were overcrowded we've managed to find a paid beach. They charged us half-price for the entrance at 6... More

Have visited Annecy a couple of times when visiting the area, which is very scenic. A lovely old town with a good selection of shops and plenty of nice restaurants, we had a couple of meals there. The restaurants by the canal have a very nice location.

The town of Annecy is one of France's little gems, tucked away on an Alpine lake (just a little bit hard to reach but well worth going out of your way to enjoy). The setting is beautiful, the lake pristine and the mountains stunning. The old town is delightful for walking, laced with old canals lined with striking stone buildings.... More

I visited Annecy by surprise 15 years ago in summer and was impressed with the amazing views, great food and most of all the beautiful place. Visited Annecy again for three consecutive years, these times in Christmas time. Loved the Christmas market, the beautifully decorated shops and the views too. My kids and friends liked it too and wish to... More
