As the Chateau was stripped bare by one of the daughters of the Ducs du Nemour when she married a king of France, it doesn't have much of interest inside. This is in contrast to the Chateau du Menton which has a fascinating history and is still well furnished.

Beautifully restored Museum on a hilltop overlooking the town and lake. Wonderful views from the ramparts. Stonework is outstanding.

5 year old son: i liked the secret passageways but the potties were kind of funny (the old ones that we a part of the castle).
7 year old daughter: the castle was pretty from the outside and the exhibits were cool. the mermaid exhibit was weird. i dont know if there were really sirens.
