Its so sad to see this going to waste. The Brazilians go to Europe to see culture but they don't take care of their own. Everything needs to be renovated and painted, not the quick fix which is so typical in Brazil. The glory is still there. This a nice place for a half day visit. You pay R$ 7 to enter and enjoy the water fount like in São Lourenço. There is a huge swimming pool outside and one inside, with massage and other service that you pay separately. The end of the park need some reform on sidewalk, but in general is ok.

After many years we came back to this park and city and unfortunetelly we found a very sad scenery of decadence by this old charming town. Despite that, we did had a reasonably good time inside the park, strolling by its paths and experiencing different types and flavors of mineral waters.
