I booked this tour to enjoy on our stop in Marseille while on our honeymoon cruise. Our tour guide, Eric, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and found us easily at the port. He explained all about the region, and took us to two very lovely wineries. We felt like special guests at both. There was no obligation to buy at... More

I did this wine tour with my wife, it was a present for my 40th birthday. We selected the tour of the Luberon and Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and more specifically "Viniculture" in general. She explained things easily in English and French, we both learnt a lot. The two selected vineyards were... More

Great tour of vineyards in the Provence region. Really enjoyable trip with an excellent guide. Gave great advice on quality wines to purchase and general info for a tourist in Aix. His recommendation of Fromagerie in Aix was excellent!

The tour was great and the company was specially thoughtful. They were fully booked for the weekend, but they opened a new tour in a special time because we sought them. It ended up being a private tour as there were no other attendants, so it was really good. Definitely recommend the company to those who speak either french or... More

We did this wine tour as a private shore excursion at our Marseille port of call whilst on a cruise. Overall, we found the tour average, maybe because we have the benefit of comparing it to other food & drink/wine tasting tours we have done in other cities (San Francisco, Prague, Budapest, Barcelona, Edinburgh), but we just didn't find it... Hello Luke, Thank you for your useful comments regarding the tour we did together about 3 weeks ago. I feel sorry that you didn't find our tour value for money and that obviously, you were expecting something else. Through our discussions on the tour, I've learnt that you have travelled a lot and visited many different wine countries and I... More

very professional and knowledgable guide--picked us up exactly when/where they said they would, took us to some great wineroes we'd never had found on our own--small, very nice, family owned places (there are only 12 wineries in all of Cassis, which is where we toured). Guide also suggested an excellent lunch spot for us, and took us to some great... More

This was a very nice wine tour. I would have liked to have experienced more of the vineyards and wine tastings but there was a lot of travel from the cruise ship to the two vineyards. Distance and time rules in our case. We were only in port for just so long and had to be returned in time for... More

Our guides for the day were fantastic and they complimented each other with their individual and combined knowledge and experiences. They wineries themselves were a little bit unprepared for our large group, but quickly adjusted.

We had a great experience with Provence Wine Tours and recommend it with 2 thumbs up to anyone interested in wine. Even before we got to France, Gaetane, the owner was very helpful sending us information by email and responding quickly to our questions. Very professional! She arranged for a pick up for us from Marseille and we spent a... More

Three friends and I did the Bandol and Cassis wine tour in September while staying in Aix. We loved it! Our guide Marion shared a lot of knowledge about the wines produced in this region and demonstrated great driving skill on those scary little roads. The tour enabled us to see vineyards and wineries that otherwise we would never have... More
