This is located along the promenade. It was close to the Mercure hotel and infront of the station where this train is located is a big park. The promenade de Anglais is big but just look for the Mercure hotel and the park, you are close to the station of this train. Price is still at € 8 last week... More

8 Euros and worth every cent. Trip through the old town then up to Castle hill for some fantastic views. If you want to spend longer up there try and catch a later train down if its not full.

8 euro to be tken through the streets of nice, the old town and upto the top of the hill. Then it stops for 10 minutes before coming back down. We usually walk bak down though so we can have lunch at one of the 2 cafes up there and take some pics.

Starts towards the East end of the Promenade and winds its way through the Old Town (some very tight turns) and up Castle Hill where it stops for 10 minutes. Great photo location with views to the West along the sea front. Don't miss the waterfall.

We took the train from Nice to Monaco. It was hideously overbooked and we were jammed in like sardines. As we tried to get off the train, we were pushed and had to battle our way off the train. Once off, I realized that I'd been pick pocketed. Thank God it was just a couple of hundred of euro's, my... More

Taking a break from the beach we went on train that goes through the old town then up to the old castle on the hill and then back down again. The whole trip lasts around 45 minutes, which includes a 10 minute stop at the top of the hill, giving a little time to go see the views over looking... More

A very good option to explore the city if you do not have enough time. It costs 8 euros and gets you to all main attractions. I took it the first day and then by myself visited places I liked during the trip

Walking along La Promenade des Anglais (as you must when in Nice) we came across this small tram. For 8 euros each we sat in the front of one of the rear carriages. It was a lovely afternoon weatherwise and so able to get a feel on the city as we went around. It stops at the Castle for ten... More
