A great way to see the main attractions in a nut shell

The train trip is short and includes the old town, main buildings with a great stop at the top of the hill. You can see the whole beach and take amazing shots.

8€ for a 45 minute trip including 10 minutes at Castle Hill. Commentary very good and available in lots of languages. Learnt a little more about Nice, although train didn't really take us to anywhere we hadn't discovered ourselves. Probably a good starting point for a first time visitor to Nice.

My daughter an I took the train earlier today, would have to say for 8€ this is well worth the 45 minute journey to the top of the hill overlooking the city. The train stops at the top of the hill for 10 minutes to take photos. Make sure your on time as the driver does not wait for anyone.... More

This is located along the promenade. It was close to the Mercure hotel and infront of the station where this train is located is a big park. The promenade de Anglais is big but just look for the Mercure hotel and the park, you are close to the station of this train. Price is still at € 8 last week... More

8 Euros and worth every cent. Trip through the old town then up to Castle hill for some fantastic views. If you want to spend longer up there try and catch a later train down if its not full.

8 euro to be tken through the streets of nice, the old town and upto the top of the hill. Then it stops for 10 minutes before coming back down. We usually walk bak down though so we can have lunch at one of the 2 cafes up there and take some pics.

Starts towards the East end of the Promenade and winds its way through the Old Town (some very tight turns) and up Castle Hill where it stops for 10 minutes. Great photo location with views to the West along the sea front. Don't miss the waterfall.

We took the train from Nice to Monaco. It was hideously overbooked and we were jammed in like sardines. As we tried to get off the train, we were pushed and had to battle our way off the train. Once off, I realized that I'd been pick pocketed. Thank God it was just a couple of hundred of euro's, my... More
