We loved going to the Flower Market in the morning. It was a wonderful mix of flowers, produce and other foods- for example cheeses of France. It had painters, as well. It was fun to shop as the local people do. We enjoyed it very much! The colors and aromas were marvelous! more

While on a corporate trip to Monaco, we were taken on a gourmet walking tour of Vieille Ville. It was simply heaven! The old town in Nice is fantastic and you must go there. It’s great to wander the little alleys and streets or to sit in a cafe with a kir and people watch. Yes sure there are the typical tourist type shops but also some lovely funky and very French shops too so sample them all. There are many lovely... more

This is great! I find myself getting lost in the maze of the streets. Of course there are the tourist trap businesses, but it's nice to go around and look at the churches, but some food at the little restaurants and see all the people and shops. You can easily waste time here. more

Old town is wonderful. It's exactly the type of charm an American is looking for in a southern French city. Nice little shops, places to eat with absolutely excellent seafood and only across the street from the beach. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Unfortunetly I had one bad experiance. Chez Freddie.
