Tucked away amongst the narrow pedestrian streets of Nice old town, this gem of a Cathedral is a must for any lovers of architecture and especially for those who appreciate baroque style decoration. The comprehensive renovation has been done sympathetically and not spoilt the originality of the features.

Tucked into a corner of the Place Rossetti, and almost lost behind the crowds of diners in the afternoons and evenings, this beautiful cathedral is a reminder of what Nice used to be, and its Catholic roots which extend back to the 1600's, before it was French or Italian, but when it was a part of a principality in its... Beautiful interior - church is snuggled into the narrow streets of the old quarter. Well worth a visit for anyone who enjoys flamboyant Baroque.

This church is not much to look at from the outside, so luckily for me it was raining and I decided to stop inside anyway. Wow! What a hidden treasure. The décor, architecture and paintings are stunning to behold. I enjoyed this more, and it felt more authentic, than some of the bigger churches I had visited in Paris.

I love to walk round the churches of France and this has to be in the top 10. The exterior in no way prepares you for the stunning interior. It has everything art work architecture stained glass in a nut shell history. It is an oasis of calm from the busy bustling streets. Do Take the time to visit &... More

On our first walk to the church it was closed but luckily we found it open on the Saturday morning. Not mush to look at from the outside but wonderful interior. One of the churches not to be missed. Peaceful, calm and extremely pleasant to amble around and read about it's history. Great places to grab a drink or bite... More

Churches etc usually do absolutely nothing for me, but this is an incredible place to visit. The architecture paintings and art are probably the best I've ever seen. Unmissable.

Not exactly sure what came over me the night I entered this 13th Century Church but it was moving. In any event, it compelled me to come back for 9 AM the next day. An Orthodox style mass awaited me. Check out the bakery across the street when you get out of church. HalleluJAH!

This is just a wonderful and amazing church. A quit place to take a rest and just sit down for some minutes, and study the great paintings in the church. We will highly recommend this attraction.
