Lots of steps but not too challenging. Excellent views from on top and places to rest and eat. Well worth the hike. There is a lift (free) if you are not up for the steps.

We walked up from Rossetti plaza enjoyed the views and got the lift back down to the beach, a great way to spend an hour or so whilst in Nice.

Hike up to the top to see excellent views of Nice and Port of Nice! Well worth it! There is a lift which is €1 single, but the walk is not too bad up to the park at the top! Also go and see the waterfall which can be seen from the sea. Belle!

Castle Hill is reached by walking up many steps or sloping paths. It also has a lift going up and down for those less able. It has fabulous views of the surrounding areas. There are restaurants and cafes at the top but also lots of places to sit and have a picnic.

Take the elevator up. It's free now, and the ride is well worth views. Gorgeous views of Nice, the Promenade, and the port. There are some old ruins on the top to see. Very interesting. If you are not up to laying on a beach all day and like to walk a little bit that is place where you should go, don't forget your camera as views are stunning, yo can spend there all day just chilling out

Great views of Nice. Take the little train @ 8 euros, well worth it, as it is a steep climb. Driver takes a 15 minute break at the summit, plenty of time to take photos.

This was probably our favorite part about this city - great views from the top and a nice area for a picnic. Definitely worth the climb!
