A small museum situated slightly outside the main Nice areas which is worth a visit. The rooms are open and airy and make for a very comfortable visit. Chagall's work is very enjoyable to view and for €9 each it would be crazy to not spend some time there.

Even if you are not a huge art fan, I think this place is worth the visit. Amazing pieces and atmosphere. You can get here by taking the hop on hop off bus, really convenient!

Yes this is a must do. The museum is not large however you will come away knowing and appreciating the wonderful world of Marc Chagall . Take the audio guides which are included in the admission price as you will get a thorough explanation of what the paintings represent. We did take the number 15 bus from the galleria Lafayette... It's well worth the trip to the Chagall museum if you like art. They have his cut outs there and many more of his paintings. They also have a model of the chapel for which he designed the windows.

I am not a large fan of Chagall but I think one must visit this museum even if you are not. His use of stunning colours in fantasy like settings breaking away from Impressionism and moving forward into his style. The museum is a walk from center I could not find a direct route to the location. I walked about... More

I never knew Marc Chagall painted so many large canvases. The works displayed were beautiful and engrossing, and displayed in a manner that each stood by itself for easy and studious viewing. Plenty of seating was available in the gallery rooms. The problem is that the museum is small and was made smaller by the fact that it appeared two... More

Fortunately we visited the museum when it wasn't crowded. Just as we were leaving, two buses full of tourists arrived! We were able to view the art works at our leisure and listen to the commentaries without being rushed. Pleasant experience for sure.

I visited the Chagal Museum for 11 years every time I am at the french riviera and every time it is a different experience. To see all Chagall work is awesome. I started to love Chagal work when I saw the stain glass that he did for the UN meditation room. Every one should visit the place.

This gallery exhibits a number of pieces from the artist mostly done in he latter stages of his life. The collection and the surroundings helped to give an understanding of this interesting art.
