Wonderful selection of works by Chagall, well worth a visit. It is not a huge gallery but just the right size with a good film about the artist. There is also a small cafe in the garden

My husband and I spent an entire afternoon here. There is so much to see and hear (remarkably well done audio guide). The stained glass windows are extraordinary. But, looking at all the sketches and oils that lead to them was enriched the experience. A must for anyone visiting Nice.

We went to this museum with two teenage kids (always a calculated risk) and even they loved it! The collection is fantastic and the audio companion was very helpful. I like the size of the museum as it is manageable in a reasonable amount of time. We spend about an hour here and loved it.

I visited Marc Chagall Museum long before I by chance got to live up the road from this gem of a Museum! Everybody visiting us now are promptly asked or not to pay a visit to this Museum. This is one of the best thing the ‘Nicoises’ have ever done and invested in, bravo - we have just returned from... More

Excellent museum with impressive collections! I got an audio guide which is quiet helpful. It has a very nice cafe and museum shop.

We went to the Chagall museum twice. Once on our own after visiting the Musee Matisse further up the hill, and a second time with our tour group. The first time we did not listen to the taped narration because typically such narration is dry and too much information to take in. So we simply immersed ourselves in Chagall's work,... More

The Chagall museum is lively and interesting. The best part of the exhibit is the outdoor piece above the pond. For Chagall lovers this is very good, for others it's at least interesting. Time the video to get the right language. It's worth it.

The museum was airy and nicely spaced out and easy to find. Entry was not free as it was a private collection.

This museum is comprehensive but not overwhelming. As well as the paintings that form his Biblical Message, there is a wonderful mosaic reflected in the pool outdoors, and some beautiful stained glass in the theatre where the film is shown. I came in more than halfway through the film and thought I'd stay and watch it again from the beginning,... More

A tremendous collection of Chagall. That is an understatement since it is "the" Chagall museum: period. Now I enjoyed it and they have a lovely bookshop and a nice facility and I would have given it a five except that I am not particularly a fan, though I do certainly admire his genius. Anyone who is a fan would give... More
