Been there as we benefited from a 'groupon' code and yet Antoine took really good care of us. The place is warm, Antoine really knows his stuff and shares his passion for wine and good food. Definitely a place to experience for good quality food and wine!

If in Nice you really must visit Cave Wilson on Rue Gubernatis. Such a great place for wine, served with real passion and knowledge. Try some wine by the glass or a bottle with plates of meat and cheese - formidable! Another place we come to as often as we can.

We came across Cave Wilson by accident, having walked a different way back to our hotel with our 2 children. We were impressed by the authentic french looking atmosphere and the great array of wines on offer together with the fact that a non extensive menu was on offer, meaning that we would be eating fresh, home prepared food. We... More

We passed by and book a table for the evening. When we arrived there was only few tables taken so we could choose where we would like to sit. We were offered a wine list and food menu. Antoine explained everything to us and helped us with wines, also asked for our budget per bottle so he could choose the... More

We made a dinner reservation for a Friday night two weeks ago. We knew they were having entertainment that night. We arrived at eight o'clock and were seated right away. Cave Wilson's owner is knowledgeable about wine and also very welcoming. My girlfriend and I ordered the curry chicken with rice and my husband had the cheese and charcuterie plate... More

Where do I start! Booked a certain table to see the jazz band, when we arrived were given a different table by the door instead. 51 times the door was opened in an hour and a half with people going back and forth. When the food finally arrived after nearly an hour there was not very much of it and... More

My parents and I visited Nice earlier this week and decided to have dinner at Cave Wilson on the Tuesday night. We were immediately enticed by the vast number of wines on display and the pleasant warming atmosphere. Before entering, we had a look at the menu and we was surprised to see how minimal it was. However every dish... More

Cave Wilson is probably our favourite wine bar in Nice, this why when we are in Nice we go thrre, it has a great atmosphere, terrific wines and jazz! Last night was special, my wife chose a great bottle of Cote du Rhone Village which went very well with our plate of local cheeses,  and we settled down to listen... More

My Husband and myself visited the Cave Wilson on Thursday 11th July 2013. On this particular evening there was flamenco music (two awesome musicians). We had the charcuterie board and polished off two bottles of wine.... Antoine was informative and accommodating (we had additional requests of changing some of the cheese and we also asked for fig jam) all of... More
