This was one of the great surprises of my stay in Nice. The church is uniquely colorful, and it's different from everything else you may expect to see in Nice. The mass is wonderfully executed, and the inside of the church is almost as stunning as the outside!

Well - you'd think you were in Moscow on seeing the building from the outside. It's truly magnificent and worth the short walk from the town centre. The interior is equally enchanting and atmospheric - it's small but perfect. I suggested to the nice lady at the help desk that they might sell CDs of the wonderful Russian music being... More

A real eye opener if you have never been into a Russian Orthodox Church. It was amazing both outside and in. I have no religious views but remember if you visit it there are people there who have so best to respect their views and just sit and look around.

A most impressive building and interior , though the latter quite small. Quite a few worshippers there too, including Polish citizens, and presumably Russians( not unknown in Nice)

This is a stunning church with beautiful detail inside and out. The collection of icons in the interior is great, with medieval style as well as later examples. As is common in Russian churches, head scarves are provided upon entrance so you don't need to worry about planning ahead. It seems tourists are allowed in even during services as long... More

For those of us who have never attended a Russian Orthodox service, this is a real treat. The cathedral is beautiful and the service interesting.

I enjoyed seeing the building. I've never been to Russia but the building gave me an idea of what going to Russia would be like.
