Somewhere you can spend a nice evening. Take a stroll. On one side you ll find the old nice market where there are plenty of these cute restaurants with amazing food.

Stroll along the tram line ON THE PAVEMENT (Not on the tracks please!!!) and watch the people pass by like a circus act, and shop till you drop. Then have a nice cup of coffee in one of the many cafes and restaurants. The main shops are Lafayette, at the 'beginning' of the street that leads all the way up... More

It is my favorite street in Nice. Perfect if you like shopping as me. So many shops, cinemas and restaurants. Good atmosphere. So many benches so you can sit and relax & watch people.

Beginning at Place Massena this street serves as one of the major thoroughfares of Nice. Not the best of shopping districts the street encompasses many "mid level" boutiques. You will find many of Nice's bank buildings on this street as well. The avenue also accommodates a tram line.

One of the two main pedestrian shopping areas. Food, clothing, shoes, books. Seems everything happens on and around this street. The tram takes you north and south - no other vehicles! Restaurants on cross streets, artists entertain, people watching galore!

We did not spend too much time here, but rather just pass by to get to the bus station, The building itself is nice to look at and the big square in the center with many restaurant and all side facing towards the square is just looks very organized. but apart from that, nothing much I would say.

While, I loved the Place Massena, the main drag with all of the shops was just average for me. They have plenty of stores but nothing unique. Any store you see here, you can see in other European cities. Worth seeing but I wasn't wowed by it. There is a tram that goes through the street which is convienent.
