The main shopping place of Nice, offers a multitude of shopping places (Nice Étoile, Galeries Lafayette), cafés, restaurants. The street is large, and the trams runs over it, making it a conveniente place to go through from place to place

With its wide sidewalks and big name stores Avenue Jean Medecin is the main shopping street in Nice. Starting from Place Massena and running north you will find Galleries Lafayette, Zara, Nice Etoile, and Monoprix to satisfy all your shopping needs within two or three blocks. The tram runs down Jean Medecin but otherwise it is free of traffic so... More

From Place Massena with its flagship Galeries Lafayette and Pylones toward the train station with a Sephora, mall (Nice Etoile) and Monoprix, this is a fun shopping experience. The lights for Christmas are different each year, and always wonderful.

An avenue full of every type of shop you can imagine. From upmarket shops to the souvenier style ones... all that you could ever want. It was very busy even in early October, full of tourists. You have all the shops, food and drinks you could ask for. Its worth a wander down even if you dont want to shop.

Always very busy atmosphere, no cars, just some trams going by at times. A lot of shops and places to eat, what can you expect from the main street - it's busy and full of life and tourists. Still, highly recommended to visit at least once!

Good for shopping and for having a drink. The cafes were full even in September, I imagine it's much harder to find a seat in summer, but it's worth it even if only for people-watching. If you want to eat, it's better to go to the old town.

busy main street of the city. Liked the 7 coloured statues that light up at night. Shopping there however severely pales in comparison to Paris.
