How lovely it is to walk the promenade along the beach. Although the beach appears to be a bit rocky, there were many people enjoying the water and beach. The view is terrific and the cote de azure is indeed a beautiful blue. Relax, stroll and stop for a drink or snack.

Wow, again, wow! I have been here several times, and each time, so worth the visit. The Promenade des Anglais is a long stretch of road, bike path, and walking path, about 4 miles long. All year round is a good time to come here for a run, go for a walk, or rent a bike and go for a... More

The promenade in Nice is a must visit both for the natural beauty and the beautiful people that you see. Although it was winter it was still very pleasant to be able to walk along the Promenade and sit on the stony beach. Whichever way you decide to walk, there is something of interest to see. It was pleasing to... More

Beautiful place to hang around, to throw screes into the sea and of course to eat baguette with creme fraiche.

Great walk with lots of seating if you want to stop and rest. You will see crowds of people walking this spot all day. Normal to sit and people watch and enjoy the day casually. One side of the Le Prom is the airport and at the other end you have the elevator. Great to walk from one side to... More

A lively walkway with fantastic views that is just full of life, joggers, old couples, musicians. You name it! We had coffee and hot chocolate on the beach at a cafe in the January sunshine that was just magical. You can sit and watch the world go by for hours.

This is so cool - and its always different depending on the season and time of year. And its a flat walk so my friend Roger can't complain either. This is people watching at its best - cycles, joggers, dog walkers, lots of foreigners ! - this is a must do when in Nice
