I'm only scoring average due to the ugliness of the large concrete prison block of a ski resort, needs knocking down and something slightly more alpine to replace it, saying that it's sunny most of the time, only an hour or so from nice on the ski bus which is only 4euros each way, plenty of pistes, chairs and good... Usually has the best snow from Southern Alps. Another advantage is that all buildings are connected by a shopping gallery, so no need to get out in the cold after skiing

A good ski resort in December for a few days. 8 out of 42 slopes were open and they were very good snow prepared (groomed?). Plenty of ski schools in different ski levels.

We had our ski holiday mid-December and although there was only a few slopes open with artificial snow, we had a great time at this resort. The weather was unseasonably mild with bright sunshine every day - perfect for skiing and having lunch in one of the restaurants just of the piste.

Combining high alpine hiking with a few days on the beach isn't always that easy. In southern France this is possible. 2 hours scenic drive north of Nice is Isola 2000, a great ski resort in its own. In the summer the snow is gone and its possible to hike. We were a group of three that did a nice... More

Excellent ski center, which has everything you need for a ski vacation. That resort is adapted for beginners and experienced skiers too. Everything is well organized, and if your hotel is near the slopes in that case there is no need to walk a lot, especially if you are in ski boots. Everything works like clockwork, hosts are all very... More

Our visit to Isola 2000 was the ideal way to get a few days skiing within easy reach of Nice. We caught the mid morning bus from the airport, (very comfortable coach), crazy price of €1.50 each. Isola not the most attractive resort but the skiing was great, no queues for the lifts, good price for passes. We used Skimium... More

This is our second year spending Spring break here and we've thoroughly enjoyed it both times. We are not experienced so it's been a great place to get accustomed to skiing and snowboarding. Plenty of pistes with various levels of difficulty and the accommodations are close to the slopes.

The cost of a hire car and a 90 minute trip from Nice is worthwhile for this modest, but charming ski resort.mIf you ignore the odd shopping mall building then things get much better! The kids loved the skiing and passes and hire charges were cheap, as far as these things go!
