We actually found our visit here very , very depressing. The animals do not look content, the park is a bit drab, the price is way too much. Sorry, but we personally would not return or recommend a visit.

They need to close this park down and give the animals to a Zoo that cares about animal welfare. We all came away feeling despondent and depressed.

Do not listen to other reviews, this place is not run down it's a small cute little zoo which is a very good day out for a family or a couple as me and my girlfriend went together. There are lots of differnt animals as you would expect in a zoo and the day is what you make of it,... More

last time I visited this zoo had a pleasant 3 hour trip around the whole place , family visit for the day, was very hot but worth it as the animals are very close to you and in great places for photos. we stay in holiday green campsite near this zoo so not far from our place and shady places... What a shame. A very hot day in June saw a total of maybe 8 visitors while we were there. How can this zoo be maintained? No facilities available, either drinks or food. Everything looked neglected and on the verge of closure. Animals lacked food and water and we felt very sorry for them. Noisy building works going on all... More

Not bad, but with a great range of animals. Some looked very sad though like the wolf which was alone (thought they were pack sociable animals) Site shop very expensive.. Take a picnic Only 5 min drive from euro camp la baume site Average visit

If you don't like zoos or seeing animals enclosed - do not visit! The animals looked uncared for and very sad. It is not a conservation park and we did not see any zoo staff on site at all. There were plenty of warning signs telling visitors to run the other way if the animals escaped. The tigers and elephant... More

The environment and style of the zoo is rustic with old buildings but suits the area, heat and animals that are at the zoo. There are two options walking round if the day is not to hot or driving round like the UK Long Leat. Big area with lots of different animals that you may not see in the UK... More

At first sight, the zoo looks tired but buy some animal feed and the children will soon love feeding the animals. The animals must be well looked after as there were number of recent births. The monkeys were really active and gave a great display. The zoo could be modernised but it had a certain charm !!

Having read terrible reviews about the zoo, we were pleasantly surprised. We spent over 3 hours there – walking around with the map that you are given when you pay. All the animals had plenty of space and were clean and considering the temperature was above 30 degrees, they all looked fine and happy and the ones that weren't sleeping... More
