Since we are staying in La Colle sur Loup, we decided to see the Loup river basin. Lots of winding roads, pretty villages, and finally, a spectacular canyon! The route is sign-posted (Les Gorges du Loup,) and local tourist offices have maps. More

Beautiful and scenic medieval villages are studded along the winding roads of the Gorges du Loup! one of our favourites is Gourdon, several shops selling unique and beautiful goods; jewellery, linens, fragrant products, food and sweets/lollies. To enjoy this area fully, it is a day trip! More

Look over the Gorges du Loup canyon from the Sentier du Paradis footpath. Try it heading down on foot from Gourdon - Note: this footpath is not for the faint of heart.
