My husband and I werehere because our cruise ship docked at Cannes. We visited Cannes during the morning, but we still had extra time. The tourist information office suggested we take the local bus up to one of the perfume factories in Grasse. This we did, & we are happy we did so. We enjoyed the bus ride (45-60 minutes)... More

If you are holidaying in the area of Cannes and want to spend a day in a picturesque area you have the option to drop in to Grasse, Le Gorge du Loup and Les Tourettes-sur -Loup. We visited Grasse on one morning, had a walk in the town and ended up in the Fragonard Parfumerie. We did a tour (free... More

An enjoyable, informative 15 minute free tour. Unfortunately, this was followed by another 15 minutes of sales talk. The perfumes are lovely and they do a wide range of beauty products but they are quite expensive though cheaper to buy here than the high street outlets. There are quite a lot of stairs to climb but if you don't want... More

We stopped here as part of a tour group, and had a tour of the perfume factory. The tour guide spoke at a million miles an hour and we had to ask her to slow down. Unfortunately she sped up again so a handful of us walked away from the tour guide and looked at the factory ourselves. The factory... More

The free tour is very informative and enjoyable. It is just long enough to contain all the main information but not so long that you're bored with the finer points of perfume production. This tour takes about 15 minutes. There is a longer tour if you want that you have to pay for, which includes the chance to produce your... More

We had a nice day out in Grasse. Taking the train from cannes (which was easy and cheap) we then caught a bus up to rue d'Antibes. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much but it was actually quite interesting (the tour is free and in English). Also, the shop was good - if you want some Espirit de Parfum... More

Skipped the tour and went straight to the shop. The staff was patient and gave nice sniffing experience. The fragrances were quite distinct and after using the products for a couple of weeks, I am greatly impressed and satisfied with my purchase.

I was on a Language Tour in the south with a student travel company and we spent the day in Grasse just to go to this perfumery. It's really informative and the tour guide really encouraged us to ask questions about the process of perfume making. You get to see every step of the process explained and even try out... More

We visited Parfumerie Fragonard (Grasse) as part of a day excursion. Our English-speaking tour was led by a friendly Italian lady who introduced us to the herbs historically used in perfume-making, distinguishing between perfumes and eau de toilettes, how 'noses' were trained etc. The tour lasted about 45 minutes, and surprise surprise, we were taken into the shop where they... Spent E3 on the toll road and it wasn't even worth that. My partner and I both thought the fragrances were all awful ... thank god it was free as that was all it was worth. Save your time and visit the one in Eze which is probably on your way.
