We traveled to Grasse to tour this perfume factory. We learned so much about the process. This was well worth the trip. Of course ended up buying some unique and wonderful perfume!

Take bus from canne station to Grasse, 3 euro ! then free shuttle bus around Grasse which stops at Fragonard perfume factory. See antique pieces related to perfume and perfume making, decanters, atomisers in the museum then enter the perfume factory sales shop ... WOW !!! Separated into Floral, Oriental, etc.etc. then each "note - top/middle/base" all detailed, learn about... More

Factory tour is free and lasts about 40 minutes. Guide had good enough English but not enough to answer detailed questions like" how much land does it take to grow 3.5 tonnes of rosé petals needed for 1 litre of essence.? Of course the tour ends at the shop but was interesting. Lane ways in old town were ancient and... More

We were recommended to go to Eze. This is where Fragonard has their perfume laboratory factory. It is a subsidiary to the one in Grasse and more personal. The laboratory was not convincing as a viable workshop as the assistant looked bored and tired. The shop was full of the same perfumes which were strategically placed; not enough products for... Fragonard is very close to the bigger international museum of perfume in Grasse, so the museum at Fragonard seemed quite small and repetitious after being to the bigger one. We would definitely recommend a visit to the bigger museum over Fragonard's. The shop was a bit disappointing, it was said to have "factory prices" but the prices were exactly the... More

Fragonard's offers both guided tours and self-guided - and the signage is adequate enough that you can do this on your own. I had toured this attraction many years ago and had the guided tour so it was easy enough to fill in the blanks for our adult daughter who was seeing it for the first time. The tour ends... More

Very interesting to see and to smell all the different perfumes. Also to buy. My special perfum preference for wintertime is: :diamant, and an other one for the summer is : étoile.

Grasse is the perfume Capitol of the world! Everything is hand manufactured here! The quality is amazing!! I bought way too much in perfume. They make many other body products! I'm happy we learned about how they don't advertise to put that money into the products, how they make it, the 7 year guaranteed perfume! Amazing!! Once I run out,... More

The factory was situated in a beautiful surrounding. A nice and pleasant feeling to browse around and a sweet aroma envelope you the moment you step into the factory. You can get great discounts on perfume, solid perfume and soaps etc. it is worth to buy some as gifts for friends.
