Other explanation is not so much details, only bottling perfume machine and filtering. We cannot smell the raw materials. The raw materials are there just for display and they are locked! The shop is much more interesting with many types of products. However, the price is not less expensive than when you buy in shops outside Grasse or in their... More

We had a lovely visit to Fragonard which is a very Beautiful building which houses a museum, very large shop and factory. We managed to join a free English tour and they took us through the history of perfume manufacture. You get to see how the perfume is manufactured and the whole process is explained. The guide also shows you... More

I was quite disturbed to be exposed to perfume mist pumping out from sprinklers above you into the street of Grasse and soon became very cynical and intrigued by this whole operation. There are Fragonard shops everywhere and the "factory" in the town is a bit like a set from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory to convince us of... More

The Fragonard perfume store and museum are all in one place. It is a beautiful museum and store and the free guided tour should not be missed. It's a nice overview of how perfume is made and was very similar to wine making. At the end of the tour, it's fun to test your own nose with a variety of... More

Very interesting , working factory. Tours seems to run regularly and are offered in a couple different languages. The store was wonderful - a lot of options and most products were available in various sizes. The shop was reasonably priced. My admission was part of a tour so I do not know how much admission is. I found this to... More

We participated in the English tour. Excellent guide! Interesting place. Tour is free, which makes it more fun to spend it in the nice big shop afterwards...

Fragonard always has lovely things for sale in the boutiques which are dotted all over France....I love the Fleur d'Oranger soaps, so I always stop. Got great Pareo, cover up and beach blanket. All very reasonable priced! Museum interesting as was tour.

The tour of the place was OK, but the '' perfume '' sold to me was alcohol with a touch of scent. The smell of ''perfume'' disappears instantly. Very disappointing!
