This is a well organised place set up for tourists and those of us with limited French. I was told the (free) English tour would start in 15 minutes and it did. Our guide was fluent in English and as it turned out in German too. We had the history of the perfumery and saw the old stills and had... More

Great to see the whole process of perfume making. I bought two bottles, Eclat and Fragonard. My whole Europe trip was about shopping, and the salesgirl was very helpful with her advise and pointers.

The historic Fragonard perfume factory is located in the heart of Grasse,France. Grasse is the Perfume Capital of the world! I found my visit to Fragonard Perfume Factory to be so awesome! During the Free tour, they explain and show the processes involved in perfume making and the different sources of materials they use from all different parts of the... More

Our tour were given a short tour around the place with some explanations how perfumes, cologne and soap is made and how special they are (1 of 4 factories in France only if I recall correctly). She also explained to us the difference between perfume and cologne and why the price difference and why one cannot buy men perfume. The... More

I found that the tour in the perfume museum and factory was awesome. How the materials used in production, producing products in batches and packaging in the factory. Shopping for presents before Christmas in this gift shop at affordable prices would be an advantage. So much to choose from when trying scents before buying.

Excellant explanation of the history, creation, and process of perfume and the world capital of perfume. I have to admit that I wasn't interested until the tour started and even I found it interesting. Good prices available for their product as well

We made our way to Grasse and stopped by the Parfumerie Fragonard. The very modern location offers free guided tours. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour lasts about 20 minutes and ends in the gift shop where you can try several perfumes. No pressure to buy which was nice. Further up the road there is the Musee... More

before going to grasse, I had decided that there was no need for me, a 50 yo male, to visit any "perfume" factories, museums, shops etc, even though I was travelling with my wife. Well we went into the first of one of their museums, and loved it. In fact they have several shops, museums etc scattered all over. My... More

Nicely appointed retail oriented facility and shoppe. You can sample all of their products and sales people are very nice and quite helpful. Less educational than the Perfume Museum across the plaza, but more pleasant and more attractively appointed and maintained....and free! I actually preferred this to the Official Perfume Museum. More pleasant and generally informative if not as scientific.
