What a great experience!! My husband's friend suggested we come here to create our own perfume. Not knowing what to expect, I booked a slot for my husband and I to attend a workshop in Molinard. Celine was amazing! She was very prompt when it came to corresponding with her! Upon getting there, we began our workshop. There were 90... More

We scheduled the hour long L'atelier Des Parfums workshop located in Grasse and this was one of the highlights of our stay in France. After a lot of walking, we found the workshop in what can be considered on the outskirts of Grasse. The train from Nice took about 20 minutes. Upon entering, there is a small museum type room... Grasse is the perfume capital of the world so one of the things you'll want to do if you go there is to visit one of the major perfumeries. We chose to visit Molinard and it was a very pleasant visit. The grounds are beautiful and they admit visitors in groups for the tour. The tour I went on was... More

I went to Grasse as a day trip from Nice. What a gorgeous town i think a must do if you are nearby. The 60 minute create your own perfume workshop with Paola was well worth doing. Perhaps being december it was quieter but we did not feel rushed - the opposite really. No sales pressure from staff - everyone... More

Molinard is a "must-see" for Grasse; it is by far the nicest of the perfumeries (in terms of architecture and heritage) to visit. It is also my favourite in terms of "make your own perfume". There is a free tour, in which you learn a little (not too much) about the history of scents and perfumes. There is also a... More

I visited Molinard August 2012. The experience was interesting, no fee for the tour but don't expect too many attractions. Tour is very compact, they focus on the sales. After quick tour i even did not understand how i spend nearly 4 century at the shop. I m a very dedicated parfume user but i have 2 different kinds of... More

The tour was free, but not available in English during our visit seeing there weren't enough English-speaking visitors at the time so they gave us an English translation to follow along. This is a museum of the old equipment used many years ago rather than a tour of a working factory. Make-your-own-perfume was not available on the day we visited;... More

The place is nice but don't expect a huge and extremely interesting attraction in Grasse. The tour is ok even if quite quick. We did expect a much bigger factory and hope to see how perfume was really made but, for safety reasons, there is not much going on. After the tour, of course, you end up in the shop... More

If you only have time for one parfumerie tour, don't go here! The tour was very short and only covered one method of making parfum and most of the presentation was a sales pitch for the Molinard products. Go to Fragonard if you're really interested in learning about how parfum is made. That tour is excellent and their fragrances are... More

Other than the knowledge and history one will gather from this experience, you get to shop too ! My children loved the tour and learnt how they use to produce perfume in the old days, don't think the process much has change that much .
