Went around Molinard after Fragonard, Molinard seemed more upmarket and seemed to have less perfumes, the free tour was also more enlightening! There was NO pressure to buy perfume..in fact we left after a good spray! However we did end up returning because we fell in love with them later!,, Look out for percentage off coupons in their flyers!

We were staying in Amtibes and decided to take the short trip to Grasse. We are so happy we did! We were told this was a lot of fun, but it was even more so than we expected! The tour was informational and fun. We learned about the history and chemistry of distilling and the art of perfume making but... More

I had the most girly experience I think I've ever had in this place! Imagine being able to create your own perfume, one that you specifically desire. Now imagine being able to re-order this, anytime you want, online. I signed up for the 90 minute class with an expert who taught me how to make my base, heart, and head... More

We experienced an "Atelier de création de parfums" and it was amazing! We created our own parfum, choosing among 100 different essences, and with the help of a professional. We left with a 50ml bottle of our own parfume! Besides, they took note about the "recipe" and we will be able to reorder it in the future! We are glad... More

It was great to be able to buy soap from the maker. The descriptions given by the guides are worth listening to.

Loved the building, it was a factory museum which looked quite authentic. Also, the tour was good and staff made much effort seeing it was the high season. Did feel as if the main purpose of the trip was to sell perfumes, but the staff was nice. Overall, it was time well spent, though the tour was a bit short.

A short bus ride from the train into Grasse delivers you to this Parfumery. It is not located in the same area as most of the attractions you would want to see in Grasse, but well worth finding. It is definitely worth the time to email ahead to participate in a class to make your own perfume. I found Molinard... More

I've been to Grasse several times and visited the other perfumery museums in the centre of town, but always wanted to see Molinard as it is the oldest of the three large perfumery companies in the town. Molinard is a bit out of the town centre, and poorly signposted, but there is a free shuttle bus that takes you there... More

Gratefully, we were simply glad to see Grasse generally and intended to have the tour as a side-event. If we had made it our specific destination, I would be extremely disappointed. No one greeted us. No information concerning a tour. Other visitors walking around aimlessly, looking for someone to question concerning having an informational tour However, we could not get... very nice building, very pretty from the outside people working there absolutely not interested in the guests and their needs but only in selling their products to the tourists. Our question'when will there be the next guided tour?' was answered by: 'will take place in 75 minutes but only when there will be around 10 peolpe - we will not... More
