Lovely walks and a little "well hidden" nature reserve with the lake area. Round the beach area, one could almost be forgiven for imagining the one had landed on a remote, peaceful and almost tropical paradise.

The Fort is interesting, the history of the man with the mask! Enjoyable walk around the island, and a couple of nice restaurant are at hand. It is possible to bring your swim gear for a dip!

stopped by here on the cruise from Juanlespins to St. Tropez. Looked interesting, but don't know much else. The cruises from these areas are fantastic. from Nice, to Cannes, to St. Tropez, Juanlespins, they are definitely a great way to see the blue coast.

Take the guided tour around the Fort Royal. I had to concentrate to understand her French but our guide was so informative of the history and legends of the islands. This took an hour and then after a visit to the museum and then lunch there is still a lot more o see..............................

I really liked walking the trails on this island. The eucalyptus trees were very fragrant. The fort and prison on the island are good place to visit.

Good nature experience Nice beaches - if you find a private spot! Many nice places for picnics - a lot of effort has been made to preserve the nature

The views, the museum and the history of the man in the iron mask was intriguing and the restaurant on the Island while expensive was great. Its a good hike around the Island and the swimming was refreshing.

We enjoyed the boat trip from Cannes to Isla Santa margarita which takes approx. 15 minutes to get there. After landing on the island we followed the path to the left which took us to the Fort Royal Museum of the Sea (6 euros each to enter the fort). The museum houses the prisons where The Man in the Iron... More
