I love this bookstore! The owners have introdused me to a lot of new authors during the last 10-15 years. Some might find the prices a bit high but the friendly advice more than compensates in my opinion. I just hope the store will survive as an analogue pearl in a digital world.

If you enjoy books instead if kindles I suggest you buy them at the airport. I will never balk at airport prices again. The owner is friendly enough but he would do so much more business if he set realistic prices. The shock forced me to research where I could find a library in the south of France! And what... More

If you don't use an electronic reader or forgot Hunger Games on the airplane like our guest did, The English Bookstore is the only place to go. Nowhere else can you find best sellers and American magazines in English, although they are wildly expensive. Lovely couple have owned this shop for years. Hope they can stick around...

This store caters for English ex-pats and not really people looking to read in the English language. Bring books with you in hard copy or on the Kindle. Need I say any more?

I finished the book I brought with me and the TV, in my apartment, was only in French. Tried the English book store. The owner is a lovely man, very friendly. Originally from England. Warning, prices are very high. Found something reduced and settled on it, in desperation.

Love the fact that there is a little shop in the middle of Cannes in France selling such a wide range of English books - those English speaking residents that live in this area are really lucky.

Sweet little shop, seemed to be run by a nice middle aged couple. There was a decent selection of books in English, but all of it was quite expensive, both the hardcovers, the paperbacks and the books in the little used books section.
