For a ride through the relatively narrow streets of Vieux Cannes (Le Suquet), board the train at a clearly designated site along La Croisette on its seaward side. Both tours depart every hour; each lasts between 30 and 40 minutes and each costs between 5€ and 6€ for adults, and between 2.50€ and 3€ for children under 10, depending on the tour. (The tour of the old town is the less expensive.) A combination ticket granting access on both of the two tours (which can be enjoyed on separate days, if you prefer) costs 8€ for adults and 5€ for children under 10. For details, call tel. 06-14-09-49-39.

Petit Train de Cannes is a train on wheels that runs around the city in three different routes. For 10 Euros/Adult I would recommend the 1 Hour Big Tour. It covers all major attractions of the city and have some info thrown at you over the headphones. It runs along the Croisette, Palm Beach Casino, and then back to the... More

Le Petit Train Cannes audio tour is a great way to see Cannes. The train offered a combined tour of the History of Cannes with the location of films tour for the fee of just 10euros.....great Value. The train also takes you to the city overlook where the view is amazing. Seeing the exclusive hotels and shops by train was... More

We visited Cannes for an afternoon so didn't have much time. This small train tour proved to be an excellent way of taking a quick look at Cannes. The commentary was very informative and interesting. The tour lasted just over 1 hour with a 10 minute stop to get great views of Cannes. The cost was just 10 euros so... More

We took the Petite train during a visit in December 2014. It was off season and Cannes was not too busy. The tour was interesting and good for a quick overview of the city. It wound through the main sections of Cannes and made one stop at a historic church. However, perhaps I had too high hopes because I was... More

It's a quick way to see Cannes if you don't have much time to spare. It's more like the roof-top tourist buses that take you around, but it's build like a train. There are 6-8 languages in the audio guide and each traveller is given a pair of headphones to listen individually. Overall, it's a good option if you don't... More

It's just like any other train you board in different cities, choose your lenguage, put on the headphones (if they're not broken), sit and relax, automated tour guide will do the rest. What makes it different is this beautiful city you're riding through. Long tour ia about an hour and takes you through promenade and new part of the city... More

Only regret was not doing this on day one: you live and learn. Very informative multi lingual audio guide whilst traveling on a 'train' around the "La Croisette" area taking in Palm Beach then the "Veillie Ville" (Old town) climbing up to the Suquet and waiting here for about ten minutes: one of my previous blogs talks about the stop... This one hour journey comes with headphones and by pressing a number from one to eight on the small 'console' in front of you the commentary can be in one of 8 languages. The route of the Grand tour takes you right along the promenade and then up the hill of Le Suquet with a 10 minute stop for magnificent... More
