For a ride through the relatively narrow streets of Vieux Cannes (Le Suquet), board the train at a clearly designated site along La Croisette on its seaward side. Both tours depart every hour; each lasts between 30 and 40 minutes and each costs between 5€ and 6€ for adults, and between 2.50€ and 3€ for children under 10, depending on the tour. (The tour of the old town is the less expensive.) A combination ticket granting access on both of the two tours (which can be enjoyed on separate days, if you prefer) costs 8€ for adults and 5€ for children under 10. It was better than walking, however, by the grace of Devine intervention we were able to get a seat. Their were many people trying to get tickets. There was no line, just whoever got to the attendant first. I'd suggest a rope with poles to get people to line up. Once boarded, headphones on, language selected, and volume on, music... More

We stayed in Cannes and took from Cannes to Monte Carlo a train trip which is so easy to use, train station is within walking distance around 8 minutes from the harbour, cost was 30.00 Euros for two including return back to Cannes (all day pass no time restrictions) - although straight there with no get off you will pass... The price is OK - 10 Euros for about an hour's drive around Cannes. There are several downsides though: - the audio commentary was crackly and when the train went over a bump in the road it cut out completely. This happened many times on the tour! - the commentary is also outdated, mentions bright young things like Paris Hilton... More

We stumbled upon this train as we got off our tender from our cruise ship and decided to take a chance. We are definitely glad we did. We saw all the sites we had wanted to see, and the best part we did not have to walk the city. Well worth the €10 per person. We then had time do... More

We literally toured the whole city and had fun doing it. It gave us a chance to kick back, take photos, and watch the city go by. The train took to a high point and stopped and we took panoramic photos of the city. I would do it again.

This little train, with an audio guide,is a great fun way to see Cannes. If your time is limited take the train as it does not cost much.

We travelled by train from Nice in the early afternoon, so wanted to see as much as possible in the time available. The promenade is only a few minutes walk from the station, and the Road Train starts from there. Evidently very popular so we hopped aboard. Multilingual headphones were easy to use, and the commentary was very informative and... More

Le Petit Train is an ideal way to see the fantastic sights of Cannes. It costs 10 euros and takes about an hour. The commentary, through headphones, is multi lingual and most informative. The train takes you along the famous Croisette area which in lined with designer shops, impressive hotels and many cafes. It continues past the Palm Beach Casino, goes... More

We visited Cannes as part of the coach tour that we were on and were getting fed up with being 'dumped' with no help at all so a group of us decided to take the tourist train. Well, for €10 we had the most fantastic tour. We were given headphones and selected the English version and away we went down... More

We took the train to see the sights of Cannes, very interesting commentary on al the hotels where the stars have stayed. It was nice to get away from the main front of Cannes and into the back streets, especially enjoyed the stop off for sight seeing at the top of the hill
