For a ride through the relatively narrow streets of Vieux Cannes (Le Suquet), board the train at a clearly designated site along La Croisette on its seaward side. Both tours depart every hour; each lasts between 30 and 40 minutes and each costs between 5€ and 6€ for adults, and between 2.50€ and 3€ for children under 10, depending on the tour. (The tour of the old town is the less expensive.) A combination ticket granting access on both of the two tours (which can be enjoyed on separate days, if you prefer) costs 8€ for adults and 5€ for children under 10. For details, call tel. 06-14-09-49-39.

Having been in Cannes for 5 days, we thought we might as well take the train to get a better feel of the place. So ot was interesting to be driven around, and given a few interesting morsels of local information, not in the guide books. Well worth it for the cost of Euro 10.

The train covers most of what is there to be seen in cannes. Since it runs on the road which is used by all other motors, you might get stuck in traffic sometimes. The audio was alright and it provided some basic info. It has a 10 mins stop near church of hope. The scenary is nice from the top.... More

We took Le Petit Train right off the pier as we were getting off the ship. It's about 45 minutes and the audio comments are interesting and easily understood. Major highlights were pointed out and it gave us a good overview of a few places we went back to while we were walking along La Croisette. I would recommend this... More

I was on a cruise and one of the ports of call was Cannes. I do not wish to sound pretentious but I have visited the Cote D'Azure on many previous occasions, so I did not join any of the tours to Monte Carlo, Eze, etc. and decided to walk through the town on my own. It was incredibly hot... More

Best used as a way to get the lay of the land and decide where you want to go back to spend time. If you get the full hour tour, it has a 10min stop at the top of the old town which is good to get photos. As others have said, the audio track is very dated so don't... More

For a short time spent in Cannes, the Cinema Tour by train is super ok. It' s an audio guided tour, with a stop for a belle vue - one hour and a half with info and travel theough Cannes.

On the day I went on this train, unfortunately the museum at the top was closed, so a large part of the trip was cut out and no discount was given for this. However, what I did see was very enjoyable and the music that matches the commentary was very sweet! I would also say that if you do not... More

We were only in Cannes for a few hours on an afternoon trip from Nice and after a couple of hours on the lovely flat sandy beach we decided that the best way to see as much as we could in a short time would be to take the Petit Train, as we had done in Nice. Good value for... More

With 2 young kids this was the ideal way to see Cannes. We would not have been able to see as much as we did without the train. When you get up to the little church at the top of the hill it provides some great views over the city. Whilst there it is also worth taking a moment to... More

It was better than walking, however, by the grace of Devine intervention we were able to get a seat. Their were many people trying to get tickets. There was no line, just whoever got to the attendant first. I'd suggest a rope with poles to get people to line up. Once boarded, headphones on, language selected, and volume on, music... More
