I have visited Cannes many times and always stayed in a hotel overlooking La Croisette with its colourful pavement light show every night. La Croisette is bordered by a beautiful sandy beach and beyond the beach is the twinkling blue Mediteranean, with its elegant yachts moored in the bay. The stunning Esterel Hills finish the backdrop. La Croisette is slightly similar to Promenade des Anglais in Nice. It is a great wide walk that offers great views as you walk along the Mediterranean and the best people watching in the world. The difference in Nice and Cannes is what what the people are wearing and what they are driving. My husband LOVES to park himself near... more
