Quite atmospheric, very good connection to the City center by free navette, great views. Not a big choice of places to eat though.

This is a very picturesque medieval village with narrow winding streets - you'll work up an appetite but such a pretty walk. Directions to car parking are a little confusing as you head out of Cagnes sur Mer toward the old village - we ended up driving away from the town at one point. However, if you are able to... More

Amazing medieval village on the edge of Nice. The flats are tiny and narrow. The streets are very steep and best for those in good shape or wanting a good workout. There is a local bus that provides transportation up and down the hill, when not on strike! The hotels and restaurants at the top offer a spectacular view of... More

So it's a cute old medieval town. However, between it and Tourtour I will say make time for Tourtour. Nevertheless if you are in the Cannes/Nice area please stop for 3 hr! Good touch to the experience.

A wonderful time, although skip the walk up if you aren't in good shape. The chateau has a neat museum covering local history, and some outstanding art. The view from the top is worth the effort. And there are a few very accommodating restaurants to kill timetable while waiting for the chateau to open.

Each time we come here we stay longer - and it's still not long enough. There are numerous little houses available for holiday rent, most with lovely terraces and views of the Alpes Maritime and/or the Med. The village is perfect, peaceful, quaint and full of tiny streets and ancient houses with something new to discover at every turn, but... More

Nothing to dislike. The lack of traffic makes it quiet and insulates it from the rest of Cagnes. The lanes and roads are quite steep. Lovely square at the top with cafes and restaurants looking out over the Alpes Maritimes, and topped by the Chateau Grimaldi which houses art exhibitions. Free shuttle bus every 15 minutes down to Cagnes.
