in front of this monument - from the time i was a kid and i stil love it. Old times meets nothing because life in the cab d'antibes still feels like a 1930s experience.

Overlooking "millionaires" bay visiting this house gives you a great feel of how the rich and famous lived on the Cote. The grounds are a bit neglected and the house is rather empty, but it is nevertheless worth going and admiring the scenery .

The Villa Eilenroc is architecturally one of the most beautiful villas of the Cote d'Azur. Built in 1865 in the style of the Petit Trianon it enjoys an unrivalled site overlooking the aquamarine waters of the bay. Next door is Villa La Croe, sometime home of Wallis Simpson and her husband Edward VII . Unfortunately the last owner Mme Beaumont... More

This villa is located on prime property in the Cap d'Antibe. You can take a hike (5km) from the plage de Garoupe along the rugged coast or take the bus to arrive. If you take a hike bring water as there is no amenities along the path. The path is not open on rainy and windy days the gate will... More

A great way to view the scenery of Cap d'Antibes. Stunning view. If you come on the first or third Saturday of the month, you might get to see the villa too

Arrive by number 2 bus from Antibes for only 1 euro. Buses every 40 mins. Beware though; opening times are 10 to 5 pm Weds and Sats at this time but we arrived to find it closed until 2 pm and only 2 Sats a month now. and only the gardens open due to an event 'manifestation'. We killed a... More

This is stately old home that is now accessible as a museum piece, situated on several acres of gardens. Most of the gardens are in a basic state of care, but the rose gardens are beautiful. Well worth the miserable EUR 2 per person to get into the site and wander about

We didn't actually go into the Villa, but we walked the coastal walk from the beach to the villa and it was gorgeous. The walkway per say is rough, rocky and steep at times. I would recommend good walking shoes. It was well worth the effort though.

The self-guided tour of the home interior and gardens is a pleasant one. The gift shop items are reasonably priced, too! We enjoyed the walk thru the gardens very much...consider doing the 'Cap Walk' before (from LaGaroupe to Villa Eilenroc).

Visited Eilenroc in July - spent a good 2-3 hours in beautiful surroundings and imagining a bygone era of splendour. The grounds are peaceful and a haven away from the bustle of Antibes. Cost 2 euros and 1.50 on the bus from Antibes. -a bargain. Recommended but check opening iMessage which are limited.
