The carrousel is beautifully maintained and quite fun to watch. It is always packed with giggling children and watching them you cannot help to smile and giggle yourself.

A really good way to take in the highs of Avignon....literally! A trip on the wheel during the night is great way to see Avignon from a different perspective. The Festival market is a good fun experience too and provides a good contrast to the hustle and bustle of the theatre going crowds!

Perfect spot for a drink. Stop. Order. Watch the ferris wheel in action. Beats rush hour traffic at home by a mile.

Truly authentic and great for little ones. The location in the square means that adults can sit and have a drink and yet keep an eye on junior.

Imposing foyer, moving war memorial. It's a working building, but manages to convey its own little piece of the granduer of France.

Located just outside the walls on the river - a stones throw from the Papal palace. Took a lovely post dinner summer stroll to the large white wheel and all of Avignon was lighted. A great experience which both the kids and adults enjoyed. Also, has amazing vistas in the daytime. 5 euros and worth every bit.
