I visited the Garden at different time of the day and was glad to see how the sun light brings out the brilliant colors of the flowers. This place used to the a hospital so I can imagine how this garden must had helped patience some how. Look at how it inspired Van Gogh's beautiful painting of the garden!!

Perhaps it is because we were there in October but it was not what we expected. There was no information except for purchase at the tourist shops that we could find. We went into one door alongside the garden and found it was a college/university library. They were very nice and allowed us to look around but we were a... More

You will find this an interesting spot to visit. We were there the one day all of the flowers were being pulled and the trees were being trimmed. Chances are very good your visit will be better. If you are looking for souvenirs this is the place to look. The shops have a considerable amount of items that are reasonably... More

Nice little garden (especially on a sunny day), very colourful surrounded by the buildings of the former hospital, very tranquil! Lots of little shops selling everything Van Gogh related so ideal for your last minute gift shopping!

A beautiful garden area surrounded by the buildings of this former hospital. It's easy to feel the soothing qualities which must have helped the ailing Van Gogh - though obviously he wasn't helped enough! There are some nice shops overlooking the central courtyard, especially a shop selling children's toys and books with the most helpful of ladies who spoke perfect... More

A very interesting place to visit with its associations with Vincent Van Gogh it being the hospital he spent some time in after mutilating his ear during one of his many manic episodes. The lower parts of the quad have since been converted into some sort of well being centre and interesting little shops where one can purchase items connected... More

It was great to be able to get a photo taken in the same place as Van Gogh painted the famous courtyard painting. Nice litle shops here too.

It's quite beautiful and free to enter. Flowers, trees, shops are very nice. Van Gogh could enjoy it a lot.
