LOVELY GARDEN NEXT TO OLD TOWN

We enjoyed the garden areas around the three storey home. We went inside for a squiz and really not much to see. In fact the interior appeared to be a bit of an art sales area. We... read more

That's what this is, a small quiet place away from the masses of tourists in Aix old town. There are seats for sitting, a pretty house to look at, and plenty of shade so that you can enjoy a picnic.

The grounds are lovely to stroll around, relax, read a book. My rating is for the actual house, which is overpriced. A few pictures, not too much else, nothing of interest. There are better homes to visit. Note that there are no accessibility features. My husband did not go in because there were not railings on both sides of the... More

A very nice story about a XVII century aristocrat and the palace he built to his little friend makes attractive this place . In fact , the aristocrat never meet his lover here , and the building was finished as you can see it many years after by the painter Van Loo . Furnitures are not the original ones and... More

The Pavillon is to be found in a lovely set of classic French gardens which are free to enter. The house itself, a folly more than a house, is certainly worth visiting both for the furnishing and the art. Since there is not a lot to it not much time needs to be allowed to visit it.

This Pavillon is set in one of the most beautiful and well-kept parks that I have visited. The park is complete with a coy-fish fountain, beautiful lawn (although visitors are not allowed on the lawn), dazzling flowers, and an interesting pathway. The building is incredibly beautiful, as well. I recently went inside the building with a friend of mine, and... More

Perfect place to sit and relax when you need a break from pounding the streets of the old town. The pavillion is a lovely historic house - you can see inside, although not large or overfilled!

Charming 18th Century house in middle of Aix.to enjoy visiting. Gardens are a beauty. Watch out as house shuts between 12.30 and 1.30pm! Interesting mix of period and contemporary pictures on display.

The gardens are lovely. The house looks nice. Most of the art being exhibited in the house detracts from the building and grounds, although one piece was interesting. The attendant was very unpleasant -- a man who thought his only purpose was to collect fees impolitely.

The garden is beautiful, but going inside is not worth it! Make sure to stroll around the garden only.
