This Pavillon is set in one of the most beautiful and well-kept parks that I have visited. The park is complete with a coy-fish fountain, beautiful lawn (although visitors are not allowed on the lawn), dazzling flowers, and an interesting pathway. The building is incredibly beautiful, as well. I recently went inside the building with a friend of mine, and... More

Perfect place to sit and relax when you need a break from pounding the streets of the old town. The pavillion is a lovely historic house - you can see inside, although not large or overfilled!

Charming 18th Century house in middle of Aix.to enjoy visiting. Gardens are a beauty. Watch out as house shuts between 12.30 and 1.30pm! Interesting mix of period and contemporary pictures on display.

The gardens are lovely. The house looks nice. Most of the art being exhibited in the house detracts from the building and grounds, although one piece was interesting. The attendant was very unpleasant -- a man who thought his only purpose was to collect fees impolitely.

The garden is beautiful, but going inside is not worth it! Make sure to stroll around the garden only.

I lived in Aix en Provence and would visit this little garden often, just to sit in the sun and enjoy the flowers and building. It is a quiet and pretty spot.

It is probably much nicer in summer. Hope there are more flowers though. A good place to relax overall.

Gives a snapshot of architecture and furniture for that period plus had a very modern textile art display there. Beautiful grounds and nice place to sit, people watch and feel very French!

Very pretty exterior and garden but poky and of little of interest inside. The gardien on the first floor was extraordinarily rude, shouting at us because we accidentally trod on the carpet.

We visited as we noticed the sign a number of times on the way from our apartment. It was a tranquil sanctuary in an otherwise busy town environment. Furthermore people actually seemed to respect rather than try to change that! The garden is well set out and maintained, though the time of year and weather made this more challenging. Just... More
