Let me take you on a private tour of the wonderful markets and charming shops in Aix-en-Provence. I will introduce you to my favourite speciality food shops and market stalls; I can help you purchase the ingredients for dinner or perhaps a picnic for lunch, or maybe just do some tasting of the best foods that Provence has to offer. Alternatively, my shopping tour will help you track down that special gift or reminder of your holiday in France. Shopping trips to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, one of the largest antique markets in Europe are also available.

My friends and I spend a lovely day touring around Aix-en-Provence with Rebecca! She met us at our hotel and took us on an interesting walk through the town and the market where we purchased items for a picnic later. We learned quite a bit about the local history and visited many interesting parts of town. The streets in Aix... More

I took the train from Nice to meet with Rebecca for a walking tour of Aix. I am a photographer so I emphasized I wanted to see the most photogenic sites. Not only did Rebecca take me to those, she also tossed in a lot of very interesting history, a trip to a wonderful candy store and an olive oil... More

Although Rebecca is unable to take me on her Shopping Tour, she was going to be out of town. She did recommend another company and provided the names of shops I would be interested in visiting. A truly helpful guide in which I'm sure I would have immensely enjoyed her tour.

We had a wonderful experience with Rebecca tour in Aix-en-Provence! The good thing with her tour is that in a short time we could covered a large area of information regarding history of the town, location of important monuments and museums to visit, cathedral, the baroque architecture and nice places to shop presents, coffee, chocolate and local delight. She helped... More

A delightful inside view of the local food and markets in Aix. Rebecca, originally from England, showed us the highlights of the beautiful market and the vendors. She arranged tastings of some local specialties, olives, olive oil, cheese, bread with olives, and callisons to name a few. Everything was delicious. She also gives some wonderful history highlights so it was two... More

Thoroughly enjoyed touring the food markets with Rebecca! She managed a few tastings for us and showed us all the beautiful food that we would hope to see while in these great markets. Rebecca shared some local history as well as providing maps so that we might understand the city streets. It was also nice that she was British and... More

Rebecca was a great tour guide. Friends who were getting married in Aix hired her to entertain us guests for the afternoon, and it was an excellent idea. We visited markets, tasted cheese and delicious olive oils, visited an amazing bread shop and more. Rebecca also added in a good amount of history as we passed landmarks. Definitely recommend her!

I was glad when Rebecca confirmed her availability given my short notice. I had signed up for the market tour. I had read many favorable comments from other people who engaged her service. I was thrilled and looking foward for the tour and my experience with her exceeded my expectation. She brought me walking around the town and explained all... More

We had a lovely tour with Rebecca; it was exactly what we were looking for to both orient us to the city and to enjoy the food market. Without her, we'd likely be too shy to ask for tastings and to choose from all the amazing cheese, produce, and baked goods. She was an expert at the market and took... More
