Let me take you on a private tour of the wonderful markets and charming shops in Aix-en-Provence. I will introduce you to my favourite speciality food shops and market stalls; I can help you purchase the ingredients for dinner or perhaps a picnic for lunch, or maybe just do some tasting of the best foods that Provence has to offer. The 2 hour tour includes a visit to the famous Cours Mirabeau and other historic sites in Aix. You will learn all about French life over the centuries in this beautiful town from your native English speaking guide.

Alternatively, my shopping tour will help you track down that special gift or reminder of your holiday in France. Shopping trips to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, one of the largest antique markets in Europe are also available. You will also be provided with some restaurant recommendations for Aix en Provence and the surrounding area as well as a list of seasonal recipes.

My 13 year old daughter and I took a tour yesterday with Rebecca. She is a local (during the summer - England otherwise so perfect English). She is passionate about and knowledgable about Aix. She shares her favorite spots, with no pressure oil and chocolate tastings, the local farmer' market and many historical sights. We both loved the tour. She... More

My husband and I spent a week in Aix recently. Rebecca was recommended to us by the owner of the apartment in which we were staying. We had already been in town for three days, but wanted to have firsthand information about Aix that we hadn't read in the guide books. Rebecca did a great job of pointing out details... More

My friends and I spend a lovely day touring around Aix-en-Provence with Rebecca! She met us at our hotel and took us on an interesting walk through the town and the market where we purchased items for a picnic later. We learned quite a bit about the local history and visited many interesting parts of town. The streets in Aix... More

I took the train from Nice to meet with Rebecca for a walking tour of Aix. I am a photographer so I emphasized I wanted to see the most photogenic sites. Not only did Rebecca take me to those, she also tossed in a lot of very interesting history, a trip to a wonderful candy store and an olive oil... More

Although Rebecca is unable to take me on her Shopping Tour, she was going to be out of town. She did recommend another company and provided the names of shops I would be interested in visiting. A truly helpful guide in which I'm sure I would have immensely enjoyed her tour.

We had a wonderful experience with Rebecca tour in Aix-en-Provence! The good thing with her tour is that in a short time we could covered a large area of information regarding history of the town, location of important monuments and museums to visit, cathedral, the baroque architecture and nice places to shop presents, coffee, chocolate and local delight. She helped... More

Rebecca shared some local history as well as providing maps so that we might understand the city streets. It was also nice that she was British and... More

Rebecca was a great tour guide. Friends who were getting married in Aix hired her to entertain us guests for the afternoon, and it was an excellent idea. We visited markets, tasted cheese and delicious olive oils, visited an amazing bread shop and more. Rebecca also added in a good amount of history as we passed landmarks. Definitely recommend her!
