My husband and I, along with our adult daughters and their boyfriends enjoyed a great combination of history and Provençal charm when we took this Tastes of Provence Market Tour. Jennifer and Mathilde were informative and entertaining as we learned about Aix and sampled delicious food. It was fun to see all the different markets and we learned so much... More

My two daughters and I are in Aix en Provence for a spring break trip. We are spending the week in Aix and began with a wonderful tour of the markets this morning with Jennifer and Mathilde. Both women are very knowledgable about the local cuisine, history, and shopping. Both were insightful about local favorites and how to avoid touristy... More

I am from Provence myself and I decided to take this tour to discover the city in an original way! I already knew the city but jennifer taught me so much about the city´s life and the traditional shops. Jennifer has a great understanding of southern French culture and she runs the tour in a fun and interesting way !... More

My mom and I were in Aix for a few days and found this tour via Rick Steves' tour book. Jennifer Dugale is an ex-pat with an incredible knowledge and passion for Aix that made our tour so very enjoyable. She showed us all around the city with a lot of historical, cultural and fun facts. She pointed out great... More

Our walking tour and taste testing at various stops was one of the most enjoyable aspects of our week in Aix in October 2013. Jennifer was an outstanding guide, very knowledgeable, informed , personable and most pleasant to tour with. I heartily recommend a tour with Jennifer. It helped us tremendously.

This was the perfect way to start our tour of Provence. Jennifer gave us some history, some information about the town, the area, and the different foods we tasted. The tastings gave us a very good feel for foods of Provence. We met shop owners and wandered through the old town. I would highly recommend this tour.

I booked this with Jennifer in advance by emails, hoping that the 3 hour market tour would give our group of 4 a nice overview of the life in this charming place. Since we were towards the end of a wonderful Oceania cruise, and had booked many tours of big cities, ancient and mid evil sights, I thought this would... More

My husband and I did the "shop tour" and really enjoyed it. We learned a lot too. Jennifer is really knowledgeable, communicates clearly and has a pasion for French food. She seems genuinely interested in each person getting what they want from the tour experience. She has good rapport with the shop owners. There is no pressure to buy, but... More

Jennifer's tours are more than just an opportunity to sample some of Provence's traditional fare. She'll give you the background on the history of the foods you're tasting, their cultural significance and what makes them so special. She'll introduce you to shopkeepers, artisans and farmers who have been plying their trades for generations, often in the same spot their grandparents... More
