Stunning views across the coast. The drop from the cliff is several hundred meters so be aware if you're with children as there's no barriers or anything on the edge. There's a few different view points with parking available. We were hitchhiking and were fortunate enough to catch a ride with people who were also interested in stopping at every... More

We took this road as we headed towards one of the beach from Cassis; basically it's a narrow road that allows you to enjoy some really beautiful landscapes. Don't speed up, there are cyclists, motorcycles, curves with a low visibility and of course the landscape. You can find from place to place some parking spaces where you can stop and... More

A beautiful way from Ciotat to Cassis. Driving on a tortious road paralleling a Mediterranean shore cliffs exposing wild landscape of white and red rocks covered with green shore plants is a magic. We were there during a sunset time that added to the trip a romantic dimension. It can be chilly, so be prepared, also have sunglasses as a... More

We started from Cassis to Ciotat. The first few stops are the most interesting. So you can see Cassis from better views than Ciotat.

There are not words to describe the incredible views this 6 mile road between Cassis and La Ciotat offers, it is absolutely spectacular. An experience of a lifetime with stunning rock formations on one side, and unbelievably beautiful views and colors on the other.

We had the good luck to visit Cassis on a beautiful sunny day after the mistral had calmed down. stunning views of Cassis, the coast in all directions and the mountains to the north. for me this was easily the best part of the visit including a boat trip to the Callanques and a stroll through the old town and... We took the Route de Cretes when leaving Cassis. Luckily the mistral wind was not blowing and the road was open. The views over Cassis and on the other side toward La Ciotat are amazing! We stopped many times to take it all in. I wish we would have had enough time to walk along one of the many trails.
