My parents live not too far from here so I go all the time and it never fails to amaze me. Lots of wonderful villages to explore and some truly spectacular drives. Well worth a visit as there are lots of activities for all tastes.

We drove round the gorges enoying the scenery and taking pictures. We also walked through an adventure path (about 3 hours) close to Palud On Verdon where you zip line, abseil and climb up and down rocks in the gorge. Very spectacular river canyon with an abundance of possibilities for activities. Like most attractions in europe best visited in early or late season. Can be crowded in summer.
