Definitely pleased we visited the Gorge, in fact we did it twice during our stay with different friends visiting. The views are amazing and the changes in scenery fascinating, from rolling countryside on approach, to the first glimpse of the lake or river, to the climb up the side of the mountain including cutting under rock overhangs. At the highest... More

Drove by car through the Greek route. Then reached the view point. The view is fabulous, flying eagles. Nearby places for canoeing.

If you want to explore the gorge by pedalo/kayak head to the southern end near Moustiers. Do not go on a windy day as the Gorge will be shut and the hire companies close up shop. It's a long way from anywhere on fairly small roads ie 2-3 hours by car from St Tropez so be prepared.

We enjoyed the Gorges drive very much. We saw an eagle soar overhead and enjoyed the peaceful environment when suddenly we heard a distant roar. It was a Bugatti road rally! SO much fun to watch the classic cars and drivets in their outfits. We stopped at restaurant Le Moulin de Soleil, near Trigance, for an excellent meal. Wish we... More

Went here today with my boyfriend - we fell in love with the place !!! From the stunning scenery, the bluest water, it was perfect! We did the 'Aqua floating ' with a guide, he took us in the water ( with wet suits), we went through Rapids , jumped off rocks , walked through caves . All for 35... More

We didn't have time for a long visit so we just made the tour with the car around the canyon. It was just amazing, a must see when beeing in this region.

The beauty of Gorge du Verdon is indescribable. Even the photos will not do it justice. It is extremely beautiful! We split the viewing of the area into 3 days. First day we drove on one side of the gorge (stopping every couple of minutes to enjoy the scenery), the second- on the other, and on the third we drove... More

Everywhere a lot of people, crowded parkings and overreputed vues. The lake was so dirty we never went in, though 33 degrees.

The trio around the verdon valley is excellent and very beautiful..need to drive very carefully because of all the curves on the rocks!! The way to get there from saint raphael was a little difficult for the kids but worth the drive.
